We booked this place through Booking .com It's called the Argyll hotel not the Inveraray inn firstly . When we got there eventually as know one knew of this change of name we were so disappointed to find a run down hotel . We would of changed had there been anything else local . We gave it 2/10 & breakfast... More

We stay 2 night in august while taking a tour of Scotland. The location of the hotel is amazing, just facing the Loch Fyne; a few steps from both the Inveraray Castle and the village centre. The staff was frindly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, a little bit old fashioned in furniture but it was clean and confortable.... More

I can't believe I booked here looking at the reviews, I must have hoped for the best as there are some good reports. Well its situation on the loch is great and I woke to a lovely view. Good bits end here. The room was quite small with the added benefit of quite a few spider webs, an uncomfortable bed,... More

I feel so sorry for the staff here, they were all lovely and tried so hard to deliver a 5* experience.....in 1* surroundings with 0* facilities. I have never before stayed in a room so small, uncomfortable or shabby AND had to part with £95 in advance for the privilidge! That said, the food was really very good, service definitely... More

we stumbled across this place accidentally and although at first glance the hotel needs tlc we were pleasantly surprised. The food was restaurant quality and cheap. Eat food I ate in the uk. Rooms comfortable, staff friendly and a great bar to chat to locals. The drive to this hotel is very pretty

We had our wedding reception here on Saturday and just had to write a review to say how perfect everything was. Firstly, we'd like to thank the manager, Drew, for his help and support with all the planning... Right from our first meeting he was so helpful and made the day about us, not about the hotel. On the day,... More

£109 for one night. 1 adult and 2 kids (10 & 7) sharing. Was put in a room that was in dire need of upgrading. To the point when even my 7 year old told me he thought the carpet and the sink was disgusting. The beds were lumpy and due to the floor sloping down from one side of... More
