I really enjoyed my stay in Killean. It's a couple of miles out of Inveraay and in addition to lovely scenery offers a house full of character, lovely grounds, peace and quiet, spacious bedroom, comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast served in a conservatory with views to die for.Add a friendly welcome and a very reasonable price - and I... When you are in Inveraray, you have to stay in this nice house. You'll get a very warm welcome. It is situated in a very quiet landscape close to Inveraray. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very good. There is enough space for private parking. I'd like to come back again

The place is very quiet although the rooms are a bit old fashioned. But expect bad service and little human contact. They closed the hot water tap at 10 am sharp!... And our daughter aged 7 had to use cold water. Not welcoming, especially with children, and that's a shame for that price. Not recommended.

It's maybe unfair to call this review "the road to Islay" as this is a lovely B6B in a superb location which jus happens to be on the road to the Islay ferry and thereason for our stopover. You can expect a very warm and friendly reception in a superb location at a very reasonable price. It's comfortable and we... More

My wife and I spent two nights with Mhairi and Peter recently, one on the way to Islay, and one on the way back. The house is spotless, the rooms beautifully furnished, with proper feather and down pillows and duvet, the whole place engendered a feeling of tranquillity. Breakfast, served in the large conservatory, was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended.

This guest house is in a large farmhouse located a few miles from Inveraray centre. Wonderful location, set well off the road. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well-appointed. Breakfast was generous and served in a beautiful atrium room. Lovely gardens, and plenty of parking space.

We stay for four nights B and B. We stayed in a cottage and ate in the main house nearby. The cottage is a little dated. But we enjoyed our stay. The dog was with us and he was safe in the large grounds well away from the main road.

Nice base for exploring Inverlochy, Campbelltown and the peninsula. Very friendly service, large comfortable room, good breakfast. Bit out of town, but only an extra 5 minutes. Provides wi-fi, although this is better near the front office but there is a comfortable sofa to use while doing so....

My wife and I spent three nights at the Killean Farmhouse at the end of June. Although the weather was not welcoming we were mde to feel very welcome by Mrs Semple who runs this bed & breakfast and cottage rental business. We had a lovely large bedroom at the front of the house with a great view. As the... More

A little dated but still ok. Very clean and comfortable. Owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. You definitely need a car as transport is not very good. Breakfast was delicious. Good sttention to detail. I would stay here again.
