Janice and Richard made our stay at the Creag Dhubh a memorable one: nice, well kept wonderful house and huge garden with a great view to the white town of Inverarary in walking distance. Since their son runs the recommended "Samphire Seafood Restaurant" on it's main road, you have a full family treat! Claus Euler and kids (Germany, Pakistan, Switzerland)

Lovely B&B in a fantastic setting with beautiful views! A short walk from to the local pubs and shops. The fire was burning nicely on arrival and a perfect welcome after a long drive! Richard and Janice were the perfect hosts and there to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Great breakfast and I would definitely stay there again!

This was such a wonderful place. Hosts were friendly. House had beautiful gardens looking out over loch. It was on the edge of town, but walkable to restaurants. The room was very clean with a traditional Scottish breakfast included.

We found this B&B by luck, and it was a stopover during our road trip through Scotland. We have had a lovely evening there, felt more than welcome, the host was exceptionally pleasant and chatty just enough to make us feel good. The living room downstairs was very cozy, perfect for browsing a newspaper, reading a book or for sitting... More

We stayed for three nights in May and found Creag Dhubh just as lovely as on our visit two years before. Janice and Richard are great hosts, warm and friendly and very helpful and accommodating. The views of the loch are stunning and the house is only a short walk along the loch to the town centre. The room was... More

Our stay in Inveraray was brief, just a stop over on the way through to the morning ferry to Islay, but we love this beautiful little town on Loch Fyne, and were looking forward to another visit. Richard and Janice are lovely, friendly hosts, and Creag Dhubh is a warm, welcoming home on the edge of the loch, with beautiful... More

So once more on the Malts rally and we decided to return to this wonderful B&B which offers great rooms, a warm welcome and a pleasant stay. Everything worked well and the whole place just allows you to relax and feel at ease. Breakfast was stunning

We only stayed one night. We found the place welcoming and spotlessly clean. There was a welcoming fire in the lounge in the evening and we were brought tea and biscuits. There is good off street parking and views over the loch are wonderful. A good place to stay although we noticed that the premises is for sale. If any... More

Very friendly and warm welcome from Janice and Richard on arrival at Creag Dubh, with plenty of off-street parking. The house itself is absolutely spotless, and the cosy fire burning in the lounge very welcoming. Our room had everything we needed, with a very comfortable bed and good quality bedding. The hot chocolate was a welcome addition to the tea... More

We stayed here for one night on our way to Glasgow and found it by drive by. We were made most welcome and the room was small (it was the last one available) but very clean and comfortable. The sitting room is very warm and friendly and the breakfast excellent. Recommended
