Hotel's main attraction is its location and dining conservatory which is right on the beach; the views are superb and the hotel provided 2 binoculars for use of guests which was nice touch. Visited this hotel on two occasions. On the first visit the food was average. Desserts advertised as being home made bore a striking resembalance to ones available for purchase from a well known American wholesalers but nevertheless all was passable as pub food. On our return visit the standard dropped drastically. We were served an awful meal that was over... more

We stayed here for 2 nights over the May holiday weekend. The location is stunning, the patio is about 2 feet from a long sandy beach, looking out towards Jura and Islay. Incredible sunsets. The staff were really friendly, nothing too much bother. The food was excellent, obviously home-cooked. Rooms were clean and our 2 rooms had fabulous views out... more
