My fiancé and I stayed here when we were running in the MOKrun at the end of May. We stayed for two nights and were very happy with our stay. The room was huge and very comfortable and the bathroom was also fantastic. Having a decent bath was an added bonus after the race! We were also treated to fantastic... More

We have just spent two fantastic nights at The Hall...a very interesting old building which has spacious, if not huge, rooms! The en-suite bathroom was the biggest we've ever encountered! We got such a welcome from Lorna who was very knowledgeable about the locality and pointed us in the direction of various attractions and eating places. However we ate at... More

First time we were at The Hall was in 2012. For years and years we head for B&Bs. When we came to Lorna's place, we expected a "normal", nice room like all the others. Lorna opened the door to the room, and we could not believe it! The room was huge! And so beautifully decorated! And as Lorna spoiled us... More

I am staying at The Hall for 4 weeks while on placement at Campbeltown Hospital. I've only been here for 3 days so far , but it's already a home from home. Lorna is fantastic. Because of the length of my stay, she put a little fridge in my room so that I don't have to go to the shops... More

Lorna is a great host, cakes were fantastic as a midnight snack after a few beers! Family room is huge (3 grown men on a golf outing), lots of room with good en-suite bathroom. We'd have preferred a serate shower cubicle instead of a corner bath with a shower facility, in fact the bathroom is so big you could fit... More

I do not usually write reviews either, however, i had to put pen to paper to say what a fabulous stay we had at The Hall. Lorna was a fantastic host. And what can i say about the cakes!!!! OMG. Lorna left a selection of baking in our room which was delicious. The meal we had at night was equally... More

We stayed at the Hall at the beginning of May 2013 and this was our second visit. The location is great, just a few minutes walk into the town and (if you get the main room) you get views out over the bay. Breakfast is substantial and hearty with cereal and toast, fruit juice and a full cooked breakfast made... More

I'm not great at doing reviews but I have to point out a few things that made this place simply amazing!!! 1. The twin room was just huge and had a massive en-suite 2. They had garden games which along with some amazing Scottish weather and a few drinks made our afternoon. 3. Home-made cakes (which were delicious) were left... More

I travel alot through work and sometimes feel the new to review a place that deserves it. The hall B&B is certainly one of those. My room was the biggest I've ever stayed in, the ensuite was the biggest I've stayed in, the cleanliness and decoration of this lovely townhouse is absolutely delightfull, with amazing original features. Lorna who runs... More

We had such a good stay in this B&B. The room we had was very nice and the ensuite was beautiful. Comfy bed made for a good nights sleep and we had a nice view of the water from our room. Only a 2 minute walk from the centre of town which was good as there was no noise from... More
