Just back from a fantastic weekend at the "new" Ugadale. As a group of 39 golfers we were fed and watered in this magnificently refurbished hotel. What a relaxing place! I have been for a few treatments including the most luxurious 'Mother to be' treatment, 90mins of pure relaxation using Decleor products. The spa entrance is beautifully decorated & inviting. The treatment rooms are perfectly relaxing with fully adjustable heated beds and big fluffy towels. Laura and the team are very professional and I'm sure you...

We visited the Ugadale Hotel to eat at The Kintyre Club as opposed to the Old Club House restaurant which is part of the same complex.
The Hotel's restaurant is very new. I think it only opened a couple of weeks before we went there over the 2012 Easter weekend. The hotel is very nicely done up and we ate...

Dissapointing- all the food seemed bought in, frozen and re-heated and there was very little fresh scottish fare. Saving graces are the price and the staff-who are friendly and try hard. The place is in a magnificent setting and hopefully the food will improve with time.
Thank you for your review. We strive to provide the highest quality food at the Old Clubhouse Pub and regret that you were unhappy with your experience. For the record, we would like you and our other valued guests to know that our food is made on the premises by our chef Andy Turnbull and his staff using fresh ingredients....

The Ugadale Hotel has recently re opened after a complete renovation. It has brought a comfortable hotel back to Machrihanish, a tiny village with golf courses that people travel the world to come and play. The hotel has a nice warm feel when you enter the spacious hall, and the welcome is good. The bedrooms at the front offer all...

Have eaten here twice - staff are lovely, friendly and helpful, keen to sort out glitches. Food has been variable I have to say - some dishes to our group both times have been excellent and others not. Hopefully as the new people in the kitchen settle in it will all become consistently good.
Thank you for your coming to dine with us and for your review. We appreciate your comments and are glad that you find our service to be strong. We are working hard to eliminate any inconsistency in our food offerings and are getting better every day. We have a identified couple of items on the menu where guests' expectations have...
