This hotel should be avoided at all costs unless you would enjoy parting with money for a seriously unpleasant experience. Tiny room,no draught beer(IN SCOTLAND),no hot water in the morning ,no chef for evening meal (possibly a good thing when you read other reviewers on the food)and poorly trained staff. My impression was a hotel not yet ready for taking... More

Unfortunately, this is no joke. The staff simply have no idea what they are doing. The food was shocking, simply appalling, rooms poor quality, and service non-existent. Worst was that THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS DANGEROUS!!!! I took my 7 and 11 year old kids. We were given a family room with bunk-beds. The upper bunk DID NOT HAVE A SAFETY RAIL.... More

Booked via their website for a room after checking their availability online. Booking was accepted automatically and confirmed. Two days prior to departure, after returning home early from a business trip elsewhere, I discover a voicemail message left by someone called 'Shamsul' saying they weren't accepting bookings as they were redecorating and didn't want complaints about the smell. Firstly, it... More

I booked this hotel for 2 of our engineers who were on business, i was in a rush to get them somewhere booked for that same day and though that this hotel looked good - referring to there website. The gentleman had to be up early the next day and upon speaking with the manager Shamsul he informed me that... More

I booked this hotel for a one night stop over on Friday the 16/09/2011. My son was booked to sing in a local pub "the larroch" (very nice pub and staff), however on the way north a member of staff contacted me to say the Hotel was "closed for the evening", and my booking would be cancelled. Fortunately the Larroch... More

Where to start?!? From the car-park there is no indication of where reception is, we had to ask someone who was taking the bins out in shorts and t-shirt. Once in, there was nobody manning the reception desk and no bell for attention, so we sat around waiting for somebody to turn up only to find when they did turn... More

Grabbed a bargain through 5pm.com, thought it would be a good idea to have a break on our return journey from Ullapool and spend some time shopping in Fort William. Following the directions given on the website were a bit misleading, it was 22 miles from Fortwilliam. The access road was full of potholes we followed the handmade signpost -HOTEL,... More

This hotel provides terrible food, considering its 3 star rating. The food is bland, tasteless and moslty straight out of a tin- the vegetables are over cooked to pulp. The proprietor is a con man- who shouts at his staff in front of the guests. I have not stayed in such a pooly run hotel to since the 1970s. amd... More

Definitely not worth £120.00 a night. The room was very run down and basic with a tiny bathroom. No phone signal anywhere in the room or wifi service, when we ask why we were told its because the manager wants people to spend at the bar and not stay in their rooms. Unless you get a really cheap deal on... More
