18/05/2012 Excellent hosts home from home every little detail and comfort covered. Best breakfast cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Couldn't fault it. Peaceful location with stunning views.

We received the warmest of welcomes by our hosts at Branter Lodge, the rooms were excellent, warm and cosy, we were thoroughly spoilt and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay even more comfortable. We would certainly recommend a stay at this beautiful spot.

We spent a perfect pre Honeymoon/post Wedding here. The accomodation was one of the best nights sleep we have had in ages (currently seeking new bed). Breakfast was tremendous with perfect fresh Scottish produce. John and Dorothy are warm, welcoming and very pleasant company. We would highly recommend there Lodge as a place to stay.

Absolute home from home, stayed here on several occasions with my son, accommodation is above and beyond expectations, breakfast is faultless and host who delivers first class services at extremely good value. We had the best break here while attending a wedding in Strachur. Nearly forgot we weren't staying with family until asked to sign the visitors book! Dorothy and John are fantastic hosts who let us use the fridge for buttonholes dished out paracetamol for hangovers and even gave us a lift to the actual wedding! I hope we can return... More
