The Haven is a warm, very comfortable bed and breakfast, quiet, and clean, close to absolutely everything, secure and private. Parking a van was not a problem at any time across the road. Terri, the owner, is a genuine and sincere proprietor who goes that 'extra mile' to make the stay memorable. The food was excellent, with fresh muesli, cafetiere... more

I stayed at The Haven a few days ago and it was excellent. Terry was helpful and very friendly. The room was comfortable, warm and spacious. If your looking for a B+B in the Montrose area you would be hard pushed to find a better place to stay. it's worthy of more than 3* trust me. :) more

It was a real 'haven' for the six nights I spent there...I absolutely think the place helped me to connect with the loved one...felt at home there, Teresa left no stone unturned in the presentation of our room, it was of a very high standard. Certainly recommend it all and sundry!!! more

Have just spent a long weekend at The Haven. Wonderful welcome, Teresa and Laura are so friendly and knowledgeble about Montrose and the area. Suggested lots of places to visit. Bedroom was very pretty, spacious, warm with lots of little extras. Great choice for breakfast, ( fab porridge) all freshly cooked. Breakfast Room real cosy with soft lighting and candles.... more
