This was our second visit to Newton Farm House, we were made so welcome, were given an early evening tour, and were introduced to pet goats a pig and saw a new born calf, this alone made it a wonderful experience for 'townies' .. Our bedroom suite was so comfortable, and breakfast one of the best we have had during... More

I was really looking forward to our return visit - again an overnight stop en route to Aberdeen. The warm welcome, comfortable room, delicious breakfast all as anticipated and an extra welcome from their new addition to the family - Lucy the micro pig. I hope we can return to this 5* home from home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Newton, tucked away on a little bit of rural Scotland we stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting friends in Forfar. Ideally located off the main road from Dundee to Forfar it was actually quite easy to find despite the sat nav wanting to take us beyond it! Louise and her family were wonderful hosts.... More

Beautiful farmhouse. Situated in a perfect place for peace and quiet. In the middle of Forfar and Dundee. Owners are so friendly as are their pets. Breakfast was yummy. Owners are so helpful too. Would stay there again...

Unfortunately we were unable to stay in the farmhouse, but Louise let us use the self-catering bungalow nearby, and she provided us excellent breakfasts in the farmhouse dining room. Lots of choice, and beautifully served by Louise and her son, Scott. Thank you. The accomodation in the bungalow was fine - very comfortable bed, and spacious sitting room. All in... More

This was just an overnight stop on the way to Aberdeen, but we will endeavour to return! We stayed in the Strathmore room which has been beautifully decorated and was comfortable and spacious, even with my daughter sleeping on the sofa bed. Comfy beds, attention to detail, clean, friendly, fab breakfast, all in a wonderful location. The warm welcome from... More

Great hospitality, wonderful spacious room, fantastic breakfast and a very quiet location. The ideal location to relax after a touring around and well worth to stay 4 nights. I really would recommend this location for single travellers, couples or families.

A lot of care and thought has gone into this Bed and Breakfast along with a truly commendable attention to detail that makes a stay here extremely good value for money and a great pleasure. Particularly outstanding was the breakfast which was simply an embarrassment of fresh delights that set an unassailable standard for the rest of our Angus/Aberdeenshire odyssey.... More

We really enjoyed staying at the Newton Farmhouse B&B ,as we were from New Zealand and with a farming back ground it was just perfect. Louise made us feel very welcome, she was an excellent host and ambassador for Scotland ,the room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, and the breakfast was excellent....
