We stayed one night at Atholl Cottage. Owner was a very nice old lady. House is old style, located in a quiet neighborhood. We got the entire first floor for ourselves, so nothing to complain about. But house is very old, beds are old and need to be replaced. You can feel the springs through the madras, and pillows are quite old as well. In general a nice place, lovely host, and good breakfast 👍🏻👍🏻 We are lactose intolerant, and she bought special food and milk for us. Great service.

We stayed here Monday 23 Aoril and Tuesday 24 April. Marion is the perfect hostess, cooking us wonderful Scottish breakfasts and suggesting local places to visit. The B&B is on a quiet street with loads of parking yet close enough to the centre of town to stroll in and see shops, museum, etc. Forfar is also a good base for touring: we visited Arbroath, Dundee and Kirriemuir. Our room was spacious, very clean, had an en-suite and the bed was the comfiest ever! Our stay was also excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back.

A lovely stay to visit my grandparents in Forfar. Marion was an outstanding host who was warm and welcoming. The rooms were a great size and everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was superb and location was great for town centre and Station Park. Also a notable mention to Marion's lovely dog who was as welcoming as she was! All in all a great stay.

We made a short notice booking due to illness in the family. Marion was very helpful and got back to me straight away about the booking. We stayed for two nights, and had lots of space. The en-suite shower had good water pressure and the bed was comfortable. We weren't inside the B&B long enough to really use the WiFi, but it is available. Marion was very good about cooking breakfast for a vegetarian and i enjoyed having a tattie scone along with beans, fantastic fried egg, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast. My husband really enjoyed the bacon and sausage in addition to his breakfast. Although i hope that family illness will not re-occur soon, i'll be staying here if it does.

Stayed here on business a few nights last year. Very warm welcome. The room was very clean. Out early and back late is always a potential issue at b&b', not here. Didn't feel intrusive to be in and out. Didn't have breakfast but would assume it's the same high standard Thank You

We were travelling to Forfar for a family members birthday party nearby. Our first impression was it was well kept and clean. We knocked on the door and received a brilliant welcome from Marion & Quiz! We were shown to our room, right next to the entrance which I will admit, worried me a little! We had a cute little ensuite bathroom built in, thankfully! The room looked fabulous and I must admit, the bed was super cosy. We slept like a baby for all off 5 hours (we didn't get in until late) but this was no problem! Would try book again if we were ever up again! Loved it!

Upon arrival Marion greeted us with a lovely warm welcome and as did the ADORABLE Quiz. We stayed for 2 nights July 28th & 29th. Our room was very clean, comfortable, warm and homely. Cooked breakfast was SO GOOD. Marion is a great host and very helpful. As the previous review Forfar is a great base for exploring, with plenty of good restaurants and local pubs. Hoping for a return visit and will defantly be staying here ! Louisa & Andy (Hants & Surrey)
