Whilst our bedroom was very good with a high standard of furnishings, equipment and cleanliness, and a good view over the golf course, our stay was rather spoiled by the poor quality of the food, particularly the breakfasts where the bacon was like leather, the black pudding like cardboard and the sausages like sawdust. Just returned from 3 nights in Carnoustie. The hotel is modern and the beds are very comfortable.
