This is a really well situated hotel/bar/restaurant on the corner of the main street in Carnoustie. I stayed for 2 nights with 4 friends here at the beginning of May and was very impressed. The family rooms are huge with 3 single beds in each room and all en-suite. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and was very... More

Was here on a Friday night, the pub was really busy, but not full. The bar staff and customers were very friendly. A lot of regular customers but made us feel very welcome. The measures in the pub were very generous and very tasty. Would go back again and again.

The food was brilliant so full marks to the chef. The roast pheasant was done to a T and I'm now a convert. Atmosphere was excellent and nothing... More

Food is nice and service is good, but place was very empty and cold. No atmosphere, maybe the time we chose to go (afternoon). Also tried to book a table for a large group for lunch and was told would have to pay a deposit per person, so just booked another pub along the road where no deposit was required.... More

Its been a lot of years since I last visited this Hotel, and was nicely surprised at how the place has been done up and how nice the food was, There was a wee bit of noise coming through from the Quiz show in the bar, maybe a door or heavy curtain could be deployed, but we enjoyed the home... More

Spent two nights here on a business trip to a supplier in Arbroath, would recommend this hotel, very friendly staff and excellent food and drink. The full Scottish breakfast set you up for the day. Even had the England v Poland game on while the Scotland game was on another screen, very good atmosphere. Room on first floor had sea... More

Had a lovely meal here. Great food, friendly staff. The macaroni cheese was top notch - just like my nan used to make. My son loved it too, until he got distracted by his Pokemon. Look forward to coming back again soon.
