I live in Arbroath but the venue Seaton house we got married in town did not have any rooms and there is no where really nice in Arbroath so we thought about going to a hotel 15 miles away until someone mentioned Brucefield, I did not know this place existed so we went down to have a look, the photos... My wife and I were referred to the Brucefield by the Old Vicarage B&B just around the corner, my compliments to them. The Brucefield is one of those rare places that justifies the description EXCELLENT. Having stayed in a variety of establishments around the world I can honestly say that this is the finest place of its type we have... More

It does exactly what it says on the tin!! Brucefield Boutique B&B is exceptional in every way. We stayed for 2 nights, Esther and Raymond were extremely helpful and hospitable. The standard of the accommodation is right up there.............we couldn't fault anything at all. Very clean, lovely touches in the room, comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom. If Ogston's hotel hadn't overbooked we would never have had the privilege of staying here, have never been made to feel so welcome anywhere as we were here, Esther and Raymond made us feel like royalty, absolutely perfect, can't wait to return! The house is beautiful, we were speechless....will be recommending this wee jewel of a place to everyone

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in April. The standard of the accommodation and the service would rival the Savoy Hotel! The house is glamorous and tasteful and the en-suite accommodation is luxurious. Nothing is too much trouble for hosts, Raymond and Esther. They are kindness itself and all the staff work to a very high standard.... More

From the minute you drive through the gate to the moment you leave, Esther and Ray make your stay quite marvellous. Their attention to detail is second to none even down to the little "magic" key for the front door. Our room, which overlooked the garden, was huge and the ensuite quite magnificent. Everything you could need was there and... More

I would like to thank Esther and Raymond for looking after me whilst staying for two nights on business. The breakfast was excellent (chef Jane!) and the room wonderful with real attention to detail. Great bathroom. Most of all, was the welcome and goodbye from the hosts. They are a credit to Arbroath and Scotland's hospitality trade. I had both... More
