This hotel should definetly not be on anyone's wish list; the service was sloppy, ineffective and unorganised, and the rooms had a disgusting unidentified slop mark on the beside table (educated guess was gravy!) and can only be described as BASIC. for 85£ we could have had a nice b and b down the road. stay away!!! Hotel is generally OK, however, I had problems with lights (main light and only 1 of bedside light worked), shower (water pressure poor, and water went from warm to HOT, dangerous) and TV (only basic channels were available even though there should be more) Food wise, the breakfast is excellent, as are evening meals.
