Spent one night on a golfing trip but well worth it. The hosts were very friendly, they made you feel as if you were a friend they had not saw for a while. The room was a great size, in a lovely house with a lot of history. Facilities were good as well, great wee shower and a telly that... More

This guest house is right in the middle of Banff with easy access to the harbour, shops and pubs and a parking facility round the back. It is an old building with two floors, and I had one of the only two non-en-suite rooms (there is a shared bathroom and toilet facility for those two rooms) which was £36 per... More

We stayed one night on our week long driving trip. The room was spacious with comfortable beds for one adult and two children 10 and 15. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Good shower and towels too. Our hosts were the most interesting folks, enjoyable to talk to if you want to but respectful of your privacy if you don't want... More

This is a rather old and listed building dating from the 1700's, therefore don't be expecting all the modern conveniences. While road works at taking place on Low Street drive past the road closed sign and take the first ally to the right to the parking lot. We were met by Fiona, who insisted on helping us bringing up the... More

Most of the way through my 10 night stay now, an I'm happy with what I've had so far to make a review. I stay in many places for work and pleasure, in top notch luxury hotels to bunk houses, and this really is up there as one of the best B&B's I've stayed in in Scotland. I'm here on... More

Although the decor was a bit dated, it has a nice homely atmosphere and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The hotel is situated a short walk from the little habour and beach, so was great for an early morning stroll.

Lovely old building in the center of Banff. Fiona and Spotty (the Dalmatian) welcomed us. Good sized room for a family, quirky sloping floors in both the room and bathroom, not surprising for a house built in the 1700's! Comfortable, clean and very friendy, the owners, Fiona and John make you feel like visiting friends. Great breakfast in the lovely... More

Been here many times over the past few years and would not dream of staying anywhere else in Banff during our visits. Fiona & John Calder make you so welcome in this family run hotel. It may be an old building, but that is part of its charm. The rooms are clean an airy and most are en suite, and... More

I travel extensively on business in this part of the country and book this hotel on each occasion I'm there. The simple reason is that the rooms are clean, staff extremely friendly and courteous. Breakfast is more than satisfactory. I have enjoyed each of my many stays and have no hesitation in making a recommendation to anyone who seeks a... More
