The hotel rooms are comfortable but very dated. They are however well equipped all the usual plus a mini fridge which is always handy. I know it is central probably hence the price of £90 B&B but I feel it is a little over priced. That said the bar & restaurant are very good and so is the choice at... more

I was staying in Aberdeen with my wife for one night in Nov 2008, but little did I know the night we were staying that EVERYWHERE in the city was full (Oasis had a gig in the city that night) and after trying places like Holiday Inn and Travel Lodge (they said their Aberdeen hotels were full and recommended me... more

I stayed at the Brentwood in July of 2008 and I had a great experience. It is a budget-style hotel so the rooms are modest but they are still clean and bright and the hotel itself is cozy and well-situated in the Aberdeen city-centre. The staff is friendly, and helpful. I loved the little bar downstairs and thought they served... more

Small friendly hotel which I used when on a course with my work. Staff at reception were very pleasant and very helpful. Hotel very clean, but rooms a bit dated and very small. Had breakfast and dinner and both were very nice. Approx 12 parking spaces. So if you want to park i suggest you go very early. No complaints... more

Stayed here for three nights when on a conference. The hotel was very welcoming, homely and comfortable. The downside was the noise of the seagulls that started at first light (4 a.m. at this time of the year!). We didn't eat in the hotel other than breakfast, but it looked fine. The bar area was comfortable and welcoming. Don't expect... more

The Brentwood Hotel in Aberdeen functions as a hotel for business travellers during the week. We stayed on a Friday night when the prices are significantly reduced. The hotel is in a good location for Aberdeen City Centre. The bedrooms are basic and functional with thin walls and ceiling. It is possible to hear noise from outside and other guests.... more

A terrible hotel. The walls are paper thin, If you wake up at night you could hear the other residents snoring and using the toilet. My room had a strange smell which I could not get rid of. The breakfasts were ok and the staff were on the whole friendly, more

This hotel was recommended by our neice who also stipulated that she hadn't stayed there for a few years. We were in town for business and not having been there ever we wanted a location close to shopping, music, theatre, etc. We found a good rate for weekends and for Orkney/Shetland Islanders. Accordingly the rate jumps up on Monday nights... more

This hotel is in a great location and it offers a reasonably comfortable room with a full breakfast. Unfortunately, the great location includes a very close proximity to bars and clubs, which unleash drunken sods in the wee hours of the morning. Once the drunks have wandered off, the street sweeper starts up about an hour later. Not the best... more

My boyfriend and I had purchased tickets to go and see Madama Butterfly at his Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen and decided to book a room for the evening. We were recommended the Brentwood by a friend and it was booked well in advance. On arrival the reception area looked smart and clean and smelt fresh, although the receptionist could have... more
