I booked this hotel due to it being in the city centre and having a good range of real ales (just really wanted a bed for the night) and really didn't expect a huge amount from it as the price was very reasonable. Got a huge surprise from the time we checked in. The hotel is modern and attractive and... More

I've stayed here a few times when I've been up in Aberdeen with work and it's ok but nothing special. It's close to the station which is handy if you're arriving late at night and close to Union Street which is good for heading out for drinks or dinner. The rooms vary quite considerably in size and some of them... More

Nice central hotel. Clean room and good breakfast. Parking a problem but expected that. Young evening receptionist completely ignored us on arrival and appeared totally disinterested. Thought I must be invisible! Night porter much more helpful and really friendly. More

Booked in to a family room thru visitscotland. Arrived late and the "parking lot" we were told they had, was crammed at the back of the building. Any empty spots were impossible to get into or we had to leave the keys to our rental vehicle for the staff to move our vehicle or they would call us if we... More

Horrible place, was plonked in room 7 absolutely disgusting yellow walls, yellow skirting boards, yellow ceiling. Bathroom outdated, walls paper thin could hear everything from room next door. Kept awake all night by doors banging and a really loud noise (air con unit or something that sounded like a never ending passing train). Went into meetings next day tired, feeling... More

Any queries I had were dealt with straight away by the manager, who was very friendly and helpful. Just be aware that it is a listed building and there is no lift - I was on the second floor and the restaurant is in the basement (but help with my heavy luggage was given willingly). More

I was running a one day course which I do in February each year in Aberdeen and decided to use the facilities at the Brentwood for the first time. I will be going back next year. Nothing was too much trouble; the meeting room was ideal; coffees and teas and lunch came and went without interfering with the day's business... More

Very poor dinner - especially for the price! Also the breakfast left a lot to be desired, Cereals, etc, cleared away before breakfast time was over. Cooked breakfast items were minimal and undercooked. Obviously a lunch party in for Christmas celebrations as the waiting staff were preparing tables for lunch before 10am, when breakfast should still have been on the... More

Very close to down town and all the shopping. Many good restaurants and bars within walking distance. Typical UK hotel, small rooms, small beds, clean and comfortable. Free WIFI, good breakfast and lively bar in the Hotel. Friendly staff. More
