We reserved several rooms for our guests who were coming to Scotland for our wedding from the states, including a room for us prior to heading to our wedding venue. The service was exceptional, the staff were very friendly and accomodating. We had breakfast in the Brassiere each morning, always ordered from the hot food menu and the food was... More

Loved our recent visit to the Aberdeen Mal, in the Crathes suite for our anniversary having stayed at this hotel several times before in various rooms. Service was most improved since we last dined here and pleased to say it's back to its good standard. The bar had a great atmosphere and topped it all off with a great breakfast... More

We booked the girly weekend package which sounded like a great deal for a saturday night. The venue is nice and the rooms are a good size and clean however we seemed to have no end of problems which certainly did not provide the stress free weekend promised. From the outset there was confusion on the booking process which resulted... More

The Malmaison Hotel is located outside the centre of town but there is a bus stop nearby that provides regular service to town. The colour style of the Hotel was various shades of "black", which adds to its character. Check-In The reception staff were very helpful and efficient. We were assigned our rooms in various parts of the hotel. Our... More

We went to Malmaison for a family meal. From young to old, we had all ages. Choice of food was good, however, there was loud music playing at all times and we were seated under an air conditioning unit (freezing cold!). We asked several times for the specific a/c unit to be turned off, however, it never was. The food... More

Overall, this is one of the best hotels in Aberdeen in terms of location, overall ambiance and comfort / style. Service is good overall and the bar / restaurant are nice. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are well appointed. I would choose the Malmaison over most hotel options given the choice in Aberdeen.

Stopped there for a drink or two and was made very welcome by the bar staff. Excellent range of beers and Whisky. In fact was shown round the locked strong room were they keep hundreds of bottles of Malts. worth a try.

The Malmaison Aberdeen is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Aberdeen! Great staff, especially Hazel, was really nice and service minded. The room is spacious and really tastefully decoratted, With the combination of old, new, dark and light colours and Heavy fabric curtains and pillows. Hip bathroom, red light in the shower. This is just great. The... More

Have eaten here a number of time, food always great, service can sometimes fall over but with consistently good food I often return both to entertain clients and also for pleasure. A trifle expensive but then this is in the heart of Aberdeen's West end so to be expected. Book in advance as very popular.

Malmaison Aberdeen "dares to be different" by making everything black. The rooms are dark and poorly lit. Whoever designed the lighting in the bathroom has never put on make-up or had a shave. The recessed lights are directly overhead, casting shadows on your face so you can't see what you are doing. The curtains are black and the drapes are... More

Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. I will look into the service recieved at reception with the relevant team, they have all changed in the last month so we are having a transition period where more training is required. The lighting is an issue we are currently looking into. I hope you will return to Mal... More
