I've always enjoyed my stays at the Malmaison in Aberdeen. Decor is typical Malmaison, which in Aberdeen means lots of granite and slate (I'm still trying to work out if the slate in the bathrooms is real). Food in the restaurant is nice, plenty of steaks, cooked well and a good breakfast. Location is fantastic, walking distance to Union Street... More

The perfect place to stay for a romantic break. Super efficient staff and amazing décor. Lots of lush velvet and tartan with a darkly gothic feel to it. We were upgraded to a suite with a gorgeous roll top bath in the room. Complimentary champagne, chocolates and rose petals on the bed were a lovely surprise! Huge comfortable bed and... More

Just back from a two night break at Malmaison . The hotel itself is very hip and has stunning interior design features, the rooms (all rooms) are spacious and luxurious with king size beds (very firm) - however in addition to this there is a "wanting to please and accommodate" attitude which is very refreshing - a big thanks again... Stayed here last night. Got the room that looked into the service entrance. Kept up throughout the night by delivery trucks. Far from ideal. Bar staff are great. The same can't be said about the chap on reception.

We loved this hotel; the decor was very nice, the rooms were very large and the bar/restaraunt was a very happening place and always busy! We could walk to the city center in 10 minutes, and the location was right in the heart of the professional business office district. The food was very good as well. Our only complaint was... More

Stayed at the Malmaison for the first time with the 'Cocktails and Dreams' package. The receptionists were all very welcoming. Our room was amazing, even though it was only a standard room - there was plenty of space, a beautiful view from the window, a huge bed and it was nicely decorated. Our meal in the brasserie was excellent -... More

Have stayed here twice. Once when it first opened and again last week. I now feel that the hotel is starting to look a little tired and expensive for what you get. Disappointed that the price £240 a night did not include a breakfast. On a more positive side, the atmosphere in the bar and Restaurant is very good and... More

Short but sweet - lovely stay. Didn't arrive until 10:30 pm but staff very accommodating. Big thanks to Dominic, lovely guy & very friendly. He upgraded our room for us! Room very clean and modern. Big bathroom, fab shower. Our view wasn't the best but obviously couldn't be helped for location and breakfast is very expensive for what you get... More

We stayed for two nights and ate in the brasserie on both evenings. The food was good, steak excellent and cooked perfectly, it is pricey though. Continental breakfast was included in room price and was OK although for a couple of pounds more a cooked one is probably better value. The furnishings in the brasserie and the rest of the... More

My wife and I stayed one night and stayed in a very comfortable room with very good bedding. The hotel is not inexpensive but it is worth it. The wifi was good. The location is good. The restaurante at the hotel is excellent.
