Stayed at this hotel for a weekend away and I really liked it. It was in a great central location and the beds were really comfy but the view looked straight onto a wall and my room got really warm during the night which made it harder to sleep. The breakfast was basic but nice and would stay again.

We've stayed in this hotel in the past for business but no longer do so because of the exorbitant cost of a room Mon-Thu, almost £200 for a pretty utilitarian hotel & room. This time we were in Aberdeen for leisure so the price of a room in this hotel was much more realistic on a Friday. The hotel is... More

Ideal place for the hotel, just about 50 yards from the middle of Union Street with a taxi rank right on the junction of Union Street and Chapel street. Hotel staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean and tidy. Bedroom was comfortable and very clean. Good bed with a choice of pillows. Nice shower. One downside was... More

pleasant quiet comfortable room. the breakfast is free - and not worth having; it speaks volumes when it is self-serve - the scrambled egg may have been what they ate during WW2.........and the sausages were disgusting, tough warmed mini croissants and pains au chocolat;thin tasteless fruit juices. either offer a decent meal or nothing.

Many thanks for your comments 192Ali It's good to see that you liked your bedroom although I'm very sorry the free breakfast was not to the standard you expected. Usually we receive great feedback on the quality of the buffet items but it looks like something went wrong this time. Rest assured, I will take steps to ensure that this... More

Thanks for your review linda1566, it's great to read that you had a comfortable stay. We have a very small car park at the hotel but it does fill up very quickly. The multi-storey at the end of the road is indeed "pay and display" but remember that it is free of charge from 10pm until 8am each night. Hope... More

Room was okay, but we never got much sleep due to there being some sort if fight or disturbance. Contacted reception 3 Times no one answered. Discovered the reason why heading to breakfast! Police in foyer and outside so must have been bother! Not happy at reception response on complaining, was more interested in what was going on outside. I... More

Many thanks for your feedback 34tm. Firstly, I am glad you found your room to your satisfaction and were pleased with the overall location and appearance of the hotel. More importantly though, I am sincerely sorry that your stay was disturbed by the inconsiderate behaviour of some other guests. As you clearly noticed, there was a rather serious incident involving... More

Stayed here for one night & it was perfect for our needs. Reception staff were really friendly & we were allocated a clean, spacious room at the back of the hotel as requested despite only booking it that week. Breakfast was fine, plenty cereal, pastries as well as sausage, egg & beans. Parking is hopeless at hotel & unf chapel... More

Dear sarahkScotland Many thanks for your comments, it's great to read that you enjoyed your stay with us and appreciated the friendly staff and free buffet breakfast. Recently stayed for two nights. One knows what to expect from these properties and it fulfilled our needs. I must add that all the staff were very friendly and helpful and treated their guests very professionally. Rooms standard for the chain. WiFi worked well. Public areas large and welcoming. It is about a 15 minute walk to Union Square but... More
