I have always been sceptical about packages over the Festive period. Today we have returned from a wonderful trip at the Marcliffe and my scepticism has been blasted away. Extremely good hotel. Upgraded to a suite - very pleased. Nice spa shame there was no pool. The restaurant was excellent and the guest living room (bar) was a great place to sit and chill out. Breakfast was good - staff at reception a little bit condescending and did not follow up with requests. more
