My husband and I had our wedding reception in the hotel on 20th September 2014 and could not have asked for better service. We were able to really enjoy our day as we were confident we were in safe hands. From our initial meeting with the hotel to the actual day itself, the service was impeccable. We were made to... More

Excellent hotel crafted from granite houses on Queen's Road. Large modern extension and reception rooms to rear. Easy to get caught out trying to get from A to B! Excellent friendly welcome from reception when arriving late but slick checkin and escorted to room. We had been upgraded and were in a club room at top of building. Comfortable with... More

An impeccably clean, quaint and modern hotel! The room was state of the art, with all the gadgets one would have in one's house - not expected in a hotel! Nespresso machine, a wide range of TV channels, plenty of choice in the mini-bar, all sorts of little luxuries. What did it for me though was coming back into the... More

Hi We've just had the most fantastic family meal at Chester to celebrate my husband's birthday. OMG. Thank you to all of the staff for making the night special. Whilst we are regulars at Chester, we would recommend Chester to everyone who want to do something special.

Stayed at the hotel on business. Was impressed with reception staff during stay, check in, check out and any requrest dealt with in a very efficient and helpful manner. Room was fairly small, recently refurbished and well appointed. I did however find the bathroom not quite as clean as I'd hope, hairs in the bath and on the floor. The... More

My partner and I stayed at The Chester in July 2014 whilst visiting for the wedding of a friend, also taking place at the hotel. The hotel itself has undergone extensive refurbishment and it shows - rooms were modern and chic with lots of gadgets and little luxurious touches - nespresso coffee machines, apple tv, the white company toiletries to... Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us on the situation that took place during your stay. It is unfortunate that even though we have communicated on more than one occasion, I am disappointed that we have been unable to rectify your challenges. My husband and I were at The Chester Hotel on Saturday 30 August for an evening meal. We were greeted by reception staff and lady was so helpful and nice. We had an excellent meal. Lovely staff and very attentive. The restaurant is well worth a visit. Fine selection of wines. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

On a very wet n windy day we got invited to this hotel restaurant for a business lunch after our corporate meeting, didnt expect much fun usually from this sort of event but it had turned out to be a very nice surprise. The restaurant looks newly refurbished, chic n has a modern setting in this elegant hotel. The menu... More

I was here as a guest for a wedding, the hotel was lovely. We stayed in a brand new room (1st guests) in the new wedding venue block. The hotel was lovely with all the lovely touches you could imagine. Only issue was it is patio doors onto a public walk way so you can't really open them and so... More
