My partner and I stayed at The Chester in July 2014 whilst visiting for the wedding of a friend, also taking place at the hotel. The hotel itself has undergone extensive refurbishment and it shows - rooms were modern and chic with lots of gadgets and little luxurious touches - nespresso coffee machines, apple tv, the white company toiletries to... Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us on the situation that took place during your stay. It is unfortunate that even though we have communicated on more than one occasion, I am disappointed that we have been unable to rectify your challenges. My husband and I were at The Chester Hotel on Saturday 30 August for an evening meal. We were greeted by reception staff and lady was so helpful and nice. We had an excellent meal. Lovely staff and very attentive. The restaurant is well worth a visit. Fine selection of wines. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

My husband booked us to stay at The Chester Hotel for the night as a surprise and what a lovely surprise it was. We were greeted by lovely reception staff I cant remember the womans name who checked us in (she had long blonde hair) she was so helpful and showed us where we needed to go each time we... More

On a very wet n windy day we got invited to this hotel restaurant for a business lunch after our corporate meeting, didnt expect much fun usually from this sort of event but it had turned out to be a very nice surprise. The restaurant looks newly refurbished, chic n has a modern setting in this elegant hotel. The menu... More

I was here as a guest for a wedding, the hotel was lovely. We stayed in a brand new room (1st guests) in the new wedding venue block. The hotel was lovely with all the lovely touches you could imagine. Only issue was it is patio doors onto a public walk way so you can't really open them and so... More

My husband and I were there to celebrate my birthday, and stayed overnight. They came to our room with a glass of champagne for us, which was lovely. We couldn't get a table in the restaurant so ate in the bar. The menu is quite limited and does not cater well to vegetarians. My husband requested a garlic free sauce... More

This was our first overnight stay at The Chester since our wedding reception there and we were certainly not disappointed. We were given a very warm welcome on our arrival. Our room was faultlessly clean and very comfortable with every amenity that you could wish for. Bed very comfortable and nice quiet room. We had dinner in one of the... More

Loved the tea menu, champagne amuse-bouche and generous but dainty selection of sandwiches, scones & cakes for our family birthday celebration. Excellent, friendly service in a smart, chic setting. Thanks!

Absolutely lovely bar meal with friends. The decor and atmosphere were brilliant and the staff were attentive without being overwhelming. They were there when you needed them and happy to help with our requests. Overall, I was very impressed and will be returning very soon.

Another lucky draw for me and a colleague after being unable to go offshore due to weather. The Chester oozes class, beautiful and elegant monochrome decor, the elegantly dressed staffs outfits reflecting the colour scheme. The rooms are beautiful, quiet, comfortable, sumptuous, iTV's, nespresso machines, all with the same quality design and colour scheme. We ate in the bar in... More
