We stayed here over the may weekend for my hen night, the room was absolutely huge, right on the corner of the hotel, so plenty of room for the 3 of us. Car park was a bit tricky to find despite having previously lived in Aberdeen for years. Location was absolutely excellent, right in the centre of town so nice... more

I dreaded going to this Travelodge after I had booked it as I later red the reviews but was surprised at how nice it was. Ok it's not the Ritz but what do you expect if you want luxury then pay more and go elsewhere. We got a special rate and it was value for money. The room was clean... more

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried, but this was just a typical travelodge. Stayed for a few nights 2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 child. The hotel is now fully no smoking. The staff were friendly. Our family room looked out over rooftops and we weren't disturbed by any noise. The room was clean enough and... more

These were the words of my colleague after asking him how he slept. This establishms is truly awful. It sits at the corner of the busiest intersection in the city, the windows failed to sound-proof in any way the sound of the ca 8 buses a minutes which all had to change gear under the headboard of my bed. The... more

Visited this hotel with my girlfriend, mainly to go back to some of the pubs I used to live in when I was a student. We stayed for 2 nights, and were happy enough with the hotel. It's located right on the main street of Aberdeen (Union Street) less than a 1 minute walk from the train station, and with... more

i had read some of these bad reviews, but thought people were exaggerating or that it was just basic, and i can cope with basic. however when i arrived the room was dark, dingy and freezing cold with only one little heater to put on. it was very noisey even though i wasnt on the road sides. but most of... more

Yes it was noisy, yes the windows dont keep it out that well. But every one goes to this lodge as it is centrally located in the city and Im afraid cities are noisy places. On the plus side, I got a basic but clean family room, free 24 hour parking, pleasant staff, clean towels and replenished tea/coffee facilities. On... more

I stayed here for one night on business. Location is convenient although parking spaces very limited. Breakfast spread towards the end of the sitting is a bit depleted and the coffee machine wasn't working so it wasn't a quick breakfast. I ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening. The food was reasonably priced and tasty. The hotel is in... more

Central location/free parking were the only good things about this hotel. The place was shabby and not particularly clean. Rooms were very basic with no concession to comfort, style or character. The double glazing did not keep out the street noise. The main entrance on Bridge St was used as a bus shelter and smoking area. people were always huddled... more

We booked our accommodation a few months in advance for a concert we were planning on going to; we usually stay in Travel Lodges as they're generally cheap and cheerful. The Aberdeen Central hotel is a well decorated, modern, maintained hotel with great access to the surrounding amenities a decent sized "secured" (cameras and barrier) car park and fantastic staff.... more
