As we just moved to Scotland, we needed somewhere to stay until we found a more permanent housing. The owner (Liz) is very lovely and welcoming. The room was nice and very well kept, the breakfast was great and huge (a bit too big for our small appetites), you will definitely not starve. We ended up spending a month there... More

Handy for town, comfortable, clean and warm. Great welcome. Will be staying here again. Although I'm not a breakfast person I was offered food to take away instead, seems typical of the attitude here, making a real effort to make guests feel at home. Highly recommended.

Braeside is one of several guest houses on Bon-Accord Street, probably some of the closest B&Bs to the city centre and railway station. The accomodation was simple but cosy and very comfortable, with a friendly welcome, and reasonably priced by Aberdeen standards. Breakfast is generous with a wide selection of cereals, main course and accompaniments to choose from. Like many... More

I returned to the Braeside Guest House again, enjoyed the deliciously cooked breakfast on the menu including various choices and it is important to note that it is one of the very few B&B in the area. The owner has a wonderful approach of hospitality that makes you feel as though the Guest House is a ''home away from home''

The Braeside Guesthouse has been suggested to us by the Butlers. Staying in this Guesthouse was a great experience. Elizabeth is such a positive person with a smile on her face even early in the morning. Thanks for letting us feel like at home Liz.

I had moved out of Granville Guest House in Dyce on Friday the 5th as I didn’t feel comfortable with the service I was provided. The owner was all about money and made me feel really uncomfortable. With nowhere to stay in Aberdeen I called Elisabeth at Braeside Guest House. Luckily she had a room for the weekend, however when... More

Take me home mama. Take me home. This is a place for breakfast philes. This is a place where the word and concept of breakfast is taken seriously. The added bonus is that the owner Liz cooks and serves you breakfast. Liz is a person who greeted me at the door and treated me as if I was her best... More

Just had my second stay here and once again received a friendly welcome. Braeside is in a very quiet location yet only a few minutes' walk to Union St and the train station. I was welcomed in straight off the Northlink ferry from Shetland at 8am, which certainly beats waiting for hotel check-in times. The rooms are very clean and... More

I stayed with Elizabeth for two weeks during an internship in Aberdeen and it was really a home from home! It is in a quiet street but if you walk a few minutes you are right at the city center (it is also no more than 20 minutes by foot from the central station). My room was spacious and was... More

I first stayed at The Braeside in 2008 whilst working in Aberdeen, I returned for two nights (aug 2012) along with my wife and friends, we were met as though we were long lost friends and really made to feel welcome. Both the rooms were very clean and tidy with more than adequate facilities and Elizabeth was always ready to... More
