I stayed here recently with my husband whilst visiting Aberdeen. We picked Breaside as it had been recommended to us. After reading other reviews in tripadvisor I made the booking. Well where do I start: great location to shopping, cafes, restaurants and bars. Very comfortable and clean room. The biggest attraction is the owner, Elizabeth!! She is so welcoming and... More

Very convenient for centre of Aberdeen. Good breakfast cooked to order. Unfortunately, noise of people walking transfers easily from other rooms. My bed had a chemical smell (a cleaner or freshener, I guess) which although not unpleasant, didn't allow me to breathe fresh air and I had pretty poor sleep. I completed the night with a towel wrapped around my... More

I stayed here in November 2014 for the weekend with some friends, it was fantastic! Everything was very clean and convenient, the location was also very close to downtown Aberdeen. The best part about the guest house though is the owner, Elizabeth. Elizabeth was incredibly funny, friendly, and helpful. She was able to offer us some great advice about the... More

I staid here for two nights with three of my friends during a long-weekend hiking trip. We had a lovely time at the guest house and traveling outside of Aberdeen to our various hiking locations! Elizabeth was extremely accommodating of our sleeping arrangement even when we called to book fairly last minute. She even made us a delicious full Scottish... More

Was up on a business trip a few weeks ago. The host Liz was brilliant, welcoming and friendly. The rooms were much cleaner than other guest houses i have stayed in Aberdeen. Great value for money and would recommend

My daughter and I had the good fortune to stay at Braeside on 29th May. Elizabeth could not have been more kindly or welcoming. Our room was clean and bright ... shower room/facilities were absolutely spotless! Breakfast provided both astounding choice and volume ... Elizabeth is a complete professional; warm and thoughtful. She ensured we had a relaxing stay and... More

As we just moved to Scotland, we needed somewhere to stay until we found a more permanent housing. The owner (Liz) is very lovely and welcoming. The room was nice and very well kept, the breakfast was great and huge (a bit too big for our small appetites), you will definitely not starve. We ended up spending a month there... More

Handy for town, comfortable, clean and warm. Great welcome. Will be staying here again. Although I'm not a breakfast person I was offered food to take away instead, seems typical of the attitude here, making a real effort to make guests feel at home. Highly recommended.

Braeside is one of several guest houses on Bon-Accord Street, probably some of the closest B&Bs to the city centre and railway station. The accomodation was simple but cosy and very comfortable, with a friendly welcome, and reasonably priced by Aberdeen standards. Breakfast is generous with a wide selection of cereals, main course and accompaniments to choose from. Like many... More

I returned to the Braeside Guest House again, enjoyed the deliciously cooked breakfast on the menu including various choices and it is important to note that it is one of the very few B&B in the area. The owner has a wonderful approach of hospitality that makes you feel as though the Guest House is a ''home away from home''
