Great location, great food, great room and great service. I was delighted with this quaint little seaside hotel. The room was lovely with a huge bed and a lovely view. The food was absolutely fantastic. A traditional Aberdeenshire menu. The staff were lovely, helpful and most of all personable. A great little hotel. I would definitely come back.

Mold in the shower, exposed wires in the room, 1/2 inch of dust on the baseboards. Ew, ew , ew and ick. Also, WAY outside of Aberdeen.

This is a quaint hotel in a great location close to the seal colonies. The food is pretty good but the chips can be a hit or a miss depending on who is cooking and the breakfast bacon was rock hard and inedible. Very pleasant staff. What a gem of place. Full of character and history. Friendly owners and staff who are full of chat and stories. Superb food and home of the iconic sticky toffee pudding. So much to do in the area: castles, beaches, seal colonies.
