this Is a very pleasant B&B with a central location. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms clean and comfortable. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. It is a bit pricy but every thing in Aberdeen is , so this offer good value for money for the location. Be careful about taking taxis, they are ridiculously expensive which probably... More

From before I booked a room to the end of my stay I received friendly help and service. All my queries were answered without much delay and I was welcomed on arrival. The single room I had booked did not have an attached bathroom but had one allocated just three feet away for my sole use. The room was spacious... More

We booked it the day before we left and were lucky to find any affordable accommodation since it all is very expensive and booked out way in advance. We arrived late, but that was no problem. The B&B has seen better days but the room was quiet and clean, (with a kettle), the shower hot, the bed very comfortable, the... More

Me and my friend stayed here for one night for my birthday . We booked by phone, the woman was very polite and friendly. She was very understanding that we would not be able to check-in at the regular time as we where arriving off the ferry that gets in earlier, she made sure our room was ready for us... More

Warm enough welcome by the owner but disappointed with the room. Clean enough but the bathroom built into what would have been an alcove. Very difficult to access the toilet. I was in a twin room as a solo traveller but would have had difficulty having any privacy in the bathroom had I been sharing. The shower head hung at... More

Arden House has an unbeatable location in Aberdeen. Sadly, that's about all it has to recommend it. The facility is not clean or comfortable. There was very obvious and extensive mildew in the shower. Everything looked and smelled like it needed a good cleaning. The "sweets" in the room were 4 old, wrapped candies that were sticky from the humidity.... More

I spent 2 nights at Arden guest house in July and found the average level of service poor. Cleanliness was somewhat ok, but bathrooms need to be renewed. Everything is so old that looks like dirty. The mattress was horribly uncomfortable and rooms are very badly isolated. The host was not very welcoming. She quickly showed me the room and... More

I arrived off the night train from London before 8am and was welcomed to breakfast. The staff made a special effort to get my room ready and I was in it before 9.30 - a great relief to be able to rest and settle in. It was a nice airy room with every convenience. I would recommend it.

Was very well received, small room, but cozy with a nice view, very clean with fresh soft towels every morning. Great warm breakfast with boiled eggs cooked to perfection and great location. I loved it and will return.
