Very comfortable guest house and extremely well priced too. Handy for Aberdeen city centre, a short bus ride away. Welcoming proprietors will undoubtedly mean a return visit when I'm next in the Granite City.

My new husband and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of September while on our honeymoon around Scotland. Our room was on the top floor which was a bit of a climb with the luggage but the view was worth it. We had everything we needed and Marion, the owner, was very helpful in telling us where... More

Thanks to the Proprietors, David and Marion for providing us with a lovely room which was comfortable quiet and well appointed and very clean. They made us feel more than welcome and helped us with things to do during our stay. We can recommend the Kildonan as a great place to stay!

Stayed one night in early June. Our first floor room was quite large with both a double & single bed. Plenty of cupboard and drawer storage and lots of floor space for bags etc. It’s located on a fairly busy road and I’m a very light sleeper, however traffic noise was not a problem and we both slept well. We... More

Stayed in a double ensuite room at the Kildonan for the weekend. Room was clean, modern and serviced every day. Breakfast was good- cooked breakfast of your choice at the weekend. Great place to stay.

A great start to our visit to Aberdeen. We arrived off the ferry from Shetland and Jim warmly welcomed us and showed us our room. Makes a great change to get that sort of welcome and not have to wait until the afternoon to occupy the room. Modern, very clean, very good breakfast. Bus stop 1 minute away. Great location.... The lovely guesthouse close to Aberdeen centre has very spacious, bright and nicely decorated rooms. The whole guesthouse makes a very well and welcoming impression so that we were very comfortable during our stay. There is a great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and even biscuits in the room that brightened up our day. The served breakfast was very... More

Just back from a lovely weekend at the Kildonan Guest House with my husband and 18 months old daughter. The hospitality offered by Jim and Marj was second to none, they couldn't have been welcoming. The room was huge, plenty of space for the 3 of us and was spotlessly clean. They'd organised a cot for our little girl and... More

We had a delightful weekend at Kildonan Guesthouse - the owners - Jim and Marj could not have been friendlier. We were dropping off freshers so required some tea and sympathy to deal with the emotional drain of parting with loved ones; Jim and Marj supplied that in abundance. The room was large, bright and stylishly decorated with original art... More
