Hotel was fine with a busy bar. Room was clean and bright and surprisingly quiet considering it was at the front of the hotel. It's a good 10 - 15 min walk into town which was ok as the weather was nice. There is a bus stop just across the road.

I met some friends here last Friday evening for a few drinks. The surroundings and general ambience are pleasant and the staff appear quite friendly. I found the prices at the bar on the high side and the person who served me at the start of the evening appeared to be more interested in chatting to one of her friends... More

We haven't been here for a couple of years and was amazed by the refit, very contemporary and tastefully done. The hotel rooms and bar have always been great. This time we were on the top floor which is a bit of a hike up the stairs but a fantastic view over the city. The food is excellent bistro style... More

What a great find. We only stayed one night but were very tempted to extend our visit. Had a single and double room. Both were exceptionally nice. Decor is very tasteful. Everything is spotlessly clean. Nice toiletries in bathrooms. We stayed on a saturday night and had not made a dinner reservation in advance. Although the restaurant and pub were... More

I used to be quite a frequent customer at this lovely place and then i moved to England. On a flying visit back to Aberdeen i met my friend here for lunch. It did not let me down, in fact it had gotten even better!!! They have refurbed and expanded the resturant section through the back and its gorgeous!! There... More

Stayed 5 nights in room five overlooking the front. Huge bedroom and bathroom which were very clean. Good selection for breakfast from fry up to many other lighter options. Evening restaurant serves good honest pub grub. However there are a couple of places nearby that are worth a visit. If hiring a car get to the hotel early to avoid... More

My husband and I stayed at the Dutch Mill Hotel our first night after a very long trip from the States. It was so great to stay in a comfortable place with really nice people. The bus from the airport dropped us off right in front, which saved us the expense of a taxi. Best of all, Cat Hamilton was... More

Stumbled across this very impressive find while searching for accommodation in Aberdeen. £60 for an upstairs room, including full English breakfast. No lift but easy access. Very lively bar downstairs, which added to the atmosphere. Parking is available. Lovely terrace restaurant, great menu, good selection of wines.

My favourite hotel in Aberdeen. Located on the gorgeous Queens road, in an impressive granit mansion. A bit far from the Union street but the buss stop is just in front. This establishment has a lot of soul and authencity. Fully refurbished rooms provide all the necessary facilities and amenities. Rooms 1-5 are probably a bit more noisy because of... More
