My father and I recently took a last minute spur-of-the-moment trip to the UK, starting in Aberdeen. Fortunately we lucked out with Butler's, as Allen and Sheena were remarkably helpful when it came to accommodating our far from settled travel plans. They really did go well over and above what you'd normally expect and played a big part in making... More

I stayed her for 3 nights, awaiting a ferry home to Shetland, in July 2015 in a room at the top of the building, which contained 2 single beds. Booking I made the booking over the phone, leaving my debit card details. The process was simple enough. Welcome I received a warm welcome when I arrived. Having been to Aberdeen... More

First visit to Aberdeen, made extra special staying in this wonderful B&B. Four nights, the room was lovely and comfortable, very clean and had everything we could possibly need like tea/coffee, towels, bathrobe, hairdryer etc. Wifi was excellent. Hearty breakfast, and a warm welcome every morning. Sheena and Allen are always happy to help. Ideally situated next to railway/bus station... More

I visited butler's guest house for one night and was made to feel very welcome by Sheena the owner, she's a credit to the guest house the decor and facilities outshine many top hotels I've stayed in, there were tea and coffee, biscuits, sweets, quality soap, bathrobe and a nice room to eat your food wether it be provided or... Stayed here through work and it's a typically old fashioned b&b with a good clean dry warm room and clean ensuite..... great Wi-Fi strength and signal but when secretary booked she didn't realise a cooked breakfast was an extra 6.50 although states on breakfast menu it's £5 .......have to pay to park anywhere close and it's a maximum 2 hour... Although I stayed in Butler's Guest House for only one night, it made me wish to stay in the beautiful Aberdeen for more time. It is located very close to Union street where you can find supermarkets, banks and takeaways. My room is spotless, the bathroom is very clean, and the landlady and landlord very polite and welcoming. I was... More

We really liked our stay there. The room was comfortable, the bathroom very, very clean. Breakfasts were great. Sheena Butler is a very nice and frindly women and we had most interesting talks about history and archeology in Scotland. The place is well situated, so everything you want to see in Aberdeen, restaurants, shops, etc. are within walking distance.

We chose the Butler's Guest House for our last night in Scotland several months in advance. Booking online was a breeze, communication with our host Sheena was very helpful and informative. Available online directions left a lot to be desired, since on our arrival by car from Highlands it was raining and Aberdeen was really busy. However, we eventually made... More

I love this guest house. The Butler's are the most hospitable people, and are obviously doing something they love. They are friendly and thoughtful. The house is your typical Aberdeen granite building, and once you're inside it is lovely and clean. Very nicely decorated and again..ever so clean. The breakfast is great..made to order! or..you can just pick cereal, yogourt etc.... More
