This place is dreadful. It really is as bad as the reviews say. The staff are uninterested, the food is appalling, the rooms are scabby and dirty. I could go on but it's all been said already. No wi-fi in the room (it was advertised), no 24 hour room service (again, this was advertised) - I could keep going but... More

I took my whole family to this hotel with a Groupon deal. We should have had free wine with the meal but my daughter was charged £40 for 2 bottles - the only wine they had available! The food was very bad - the 'salad' was limp lettuce and warm cucumber and the sauce with the meat tasted odd. Breakfast... More

From the outside it may look like part building site, part sixties concrete block shabby hotel. However, it is not even that good. This is the worst hotel in the northern hemisphere. Reception staff were good in fairness, but that's where it ends. Other staff were either completely uninterested or poorly (or not at all) trained. The place was probably... More

I and my coach party were shocked when we were dropped off outside the hotel! It looked like a disused block of maisonettes but when we got inside it was lovely. My luggage was taken to my room which was as big as a ballroom (slight exaggeration) It was clean and tidy and the shower was in excellent working order!... More

We stayed for 2 nights and to be honest this hotel is a Scottish version of Faulty Towers. It is so bad, that it is funny!!! The only highlights were the 2 receptionists, otherwise all other staff were incredibly unhelpful. Most were either too busy on their mobile phones, or just looked so depressed by working there that they could... More

Tried most hotels in Aberdeen. Finally got this one for a one night stay over. Place is undergoing refurbishment but general cleanliness of hotel is shocking. After being given a room key which someone was already in - I got into another room. The fixturs and fittings look dated, the carpet hadn't seen a hoover, the bathroom sealant had seen... More

It was my first stay in this hotel and I was in a deluxe room, despite being expensive it was a very ordinary hotel, I arrived late at night and I was searching for from where I can enter the hotel as it was very dark around the hotel, the breakfast was very poor, the bathroom was old fashion, the TV &... I stayed here for one night on business travel, and was a bit worried after reading some of the revues here. But I was pleasantly surprised. My room was clean and spacious. The hotel layout is a but confusing, and could do with some more signs. I had trouble finding my room (520), it turned out to be on the... More

The outside of this hotel does not look very appealing but once inside it transforms. The rooms are large and bright and very clean. The staff were also very helpful when asked about anything. the food was first class even though it is all buffet style.
