I found the staff to be quite pleasant, unlike some other reviewers, that is where the praise ends unfortunately. Obviously undergoing much needed, twenty year overdue, renovation. It is no joke when people say it is a throwback to the seventies. Whilst a little disruption is unavoidable, normally these areas are well segregated and kept to a minimum, not here, you... More

This is a terrible place. Please read the reviews like I should have but didn't - they're all true. The rooms are bad; the service is bad; the decor is bad; the food is terrible; everything - and I do mean everything - is bad. I knew I was in trouble when at the airport the taxi driver visibly winced... More

Book at your peril this place belongs in a third world country. Absolutely disgraceful and should be closed down. The staff are inpolite and struggle to speak English. It's a dump and I was totally stressed when I left. I will never ever, ever stop here again.

was horrified reading the reviews before going here. It had been booked by our daughter as a surprise for valentines weekend. I telephoned the hotel in advance with my worries and spoke to David the manager who reassured me that my stay would be perfect. He wasnt wrong. On arrival myself and husband nearly turned around to go home due... More

My other half booked this for us for Valentine's Night - she had a groupon for £29 which seemed like a steal (to her). I then checked trip advisor and we were so put off by the reviews that we were tempted not to go at all. We decided to just go, get drunk, and go with the flow. Honestly... More

Pulling up to our hotel it seemed to resemble a bomb site and less of the hotel we had seen online. It was currently undergoing renovation to which no one in the hotel thought to inform future customers. On arrival we were not greeted by the woman on the reception desk who sat and chewed open mouthed on her gum.... More

I checked tripadvisor before getting to the hotel and I must admit I was extremely worried and scared! If you do need to stay in this area, definitely go for another hotel. I was booked in for a business meeting and had no choice. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and should genuinely be closed instead of trying to maximise revenue.... More

Most of the staff were nice enough. Bed ok but quite hard. Location good for AirPort. Everything else is in desperate need of replacement, including the ghastly evening buffet the restaurant offers. Walls paperthin, sounds like the neighbor is sleep-ins next to you.

Had the misfortune of staying in this hovel at the beginning of January. It got off to a great start by being ignored by the 2 front desk staff for 15 mins whilst they typed into their computers with no welcome whatsoever. Understandable had there been a queue of people but no, I was the only guest. When i was... More

The worst hotel experience I have ever had. It's just a dirty sprawling mess, with non-existent customer care. Don't stay here, you will regret it. I hunted high and low for a member of staff, to tell them that the toilet didn't flush. Went to the restaurant for a meal, to be told I needed a cardboard identity stamp, which... More
