Stayed for 2 nights on Aberdeen Special DBB at £70 total whilst visiting family. Spacious double room with all the usual amenities. Bathroom old but perfectly adequate and plenty of room for toiletries. Good location near to city and airport and free car park. Breakfast was buffet style and very good. Dinner was perfectly acceptable - certainly better than we... more

Stayed at the Brittania hotel in Bucksburn, Aberdeen for 1 night whilst visiting relatives in the city. used to go to uni here so found it easily. We booked a double room for £35 dinner, bed and breakfast for both of us!! Thought there was an error when this was the price but no it is right. the room was... more

You could easily be put off by some of the reviews and at times I wondered if they are all about the same hotel. I stayed just one night on a short weekend stay in Aberdeen, taking advantage of the Aberdeen Special Dinner Bed and Breakfast for just £35 a night. This is incredible value for money. The room was... more

I was rather dubious about our stay after reading the reviews.!We were 3 adults staying in 2 rooms. The twin room allocated was infact a double with an additional single bed., the other a double. The rooms had been refurbished and were clean and well presented. The restaurant was modern and clean and the food was very good. The service was perhaps... more

I was a bit concerned after booking the Britannia Hotel and then reading some off the reviews, however, when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and checked in within a few minutes. We had booked a family room with diner and breakfast, on entering our room we found it to be spacious with two double beds, although... more

We stayed one night as we had an early morning flight from Dyce airport and were very pleased with the accommodation. It was clean, the staff were very pleasant and I used there Aberdeen special deal available on their website - £25 per room bed and breakfast. Will definitely use again more

I stayed in February 2009 on business for one night. A last-minute booking (as everywhere else in Aberdeen was full) resulted in a £140 night stay. The reception desk staff were more interested in shouting at each other from front desk back to reception. Lists of other guests staying at the hotel through corporate accounts littered the reception desk and... more

Let's start with the positives. The room was warm, the water hot and the parking and internet access was free. Now the negatives. The staff range from unhelpful to downright rude. The food is unbelievably awful and table service is so slow it's almost amusing. The hotel is far from clean - my room had soiled underwear lying on the... more

The hotel is generally dated and tired looking, with the staff on reception being fairly slow and unfriendly, but the real problems are in the resturant. the service in the resturant is shockingly bad. the staff we're avoiding the customers in the resturant, everyone had to wait a long time to order and get thier food. I had to knock... more
