I was most impressed with this hotel and Aberdeen as a whole. Free wi-fi for the business crowd. The half price weekend rates where excellent for single room rates. A little more expensive than backpacker rates I'm used to but well worth the expense. Low cost hotel rates on the weekend due to this being a "business" town with rates... more

We stayed for two nights. The hotel is very dated and in bad need of redocorating. The beds were clean and the bathroom was spotless but the rest of the hotel was in very bad condition. Our room was located on the floor above the Ballroom and we had to endure a Salsa Dancing Night on the first night which... more

We booked a family room as we had two very young children with us. Although we were in the older part of the hotel and the lobbies looked in need of refurbishing, we were pleasantly suprised by the size of our room which was enormous and accommodated five of us more than comfortably. The room was clean and well furnished... more

I wanted something cheap and central and the Station Hotel fitted the bill perfectly. Situated opposite the rail station you won't find anywhere closer if you're not wanting to use the car. Despite the location we never heard a single train despite having a room at the front of the hotel and the room itself was basic but clean and... more

Being very much interested in former railway hotels and additionally this one being so close to the railway and bus stations, made this a good choice for me, despite being aware of some of the previous reviews. The receptionist was polite and gave me directions to my room. From the exterior it looks deceptively smaller than it actually is, in... more

I stayed here for 3 nights recently. If you have to stay here make sure that they put you in the 'refurbished' part of the hotel - its like staying in 2 different hotels! But if you don't have to stay here and actually have a choice really don't. My first room was so dreadful I couldn't stop giggling! Walked... more

I'll make this quick-ish. Bed was comfotable. TV has 4 channels and one of them was unwatchable due to clicking sound that came from speakers when you put it on bbc1. The rdiator, on the night I stayed, started a hammering noise. I told reception and they sent someone to check it but the noise stopped before they arrived. It... more

First impressions were not good with a hotel receptionist on the phone to her boyfriend rather than serving me, Fortunately the manager saw this and dealt with it promptly. Being cheesed off at waiting on the receptionist, I proceeded to my room (413) Glad to say the room was big, modern and comfy. Free wireless was a bonus as was... more
