Got this hotel booked for a night out in Aberdeen, the location really is spot on since it's only a taxi drive away and literally got there in no time! The room itself was beautiful and very roomy! And also has quite a large car park for leaving your car. Since it's not exactly near the clubs I felt very... More

Stayed there a few times...Rooms are comfortable and clean. The price is right and includes breakfast. You can take the bus downtown right out front of the hotel. It has a good restaurant and little bar.

The Mariner is a nice place, with a very cosy feel to it, in a nice location - close to town but far enough away to be quiet and out of the way. The menu is quite limited, but the specials board supplements it well. The beer selection is also limited, which is a little disappointing, but the surroundings for... More

I only use the dining facilities at this hotel, so cannot comment on the accommodation. The food here is excellent and, as you might guess from the name, specialises in various types of seafood. But, for me, the best part of eating and drinking at the Mariner is the level of service. You can find good food at many restaurants... More

First time I have stopped here for a number of years and I was not disappointed. Although I had a room in the annexe, it was very clean and well laid out. It could be an issue if it was teaming down with rain. The hotel gets full very quickly and hence is best to book in plenty of time.... More

5 minutes walk from the heart of the city, the hotel represents very good value in an expensive city. Clean and tidy, it's an old building so the floors can creak a bit, and from a business perspective there won't be enough plug sockets in the rooms, but with great food, great beer and comfortable beds, it was a very... this is starting to turn into an informal local for us. We tend to eat in the pub part of the hotel which has a cosy family feel - often busy with locals for Sunday lunch / dinner. Food comprises the usual stables e.g burgers etc. but the specials have some really nice dishes which vary e.g venison, good fish... More
