From the moment you drive up the winding lane, through the old trees, watching the sheep in the small meadows, you know that you have arrived somewhere special. The Greenmount Lodge B&B is located in a rare setting - an old country estate that leaves you feeling removed from the run of the mill. The rooms are perfectly appointed, and... more

for several years, we've been lucky enough to stay with Mrs. Reid at Greenmount Lodge. We found the lodging through the voucher book that AerLingus provides when you book one of their fly drive 6 nights lodging packages. And we've only ever been there in wicked cold months (Jan, Feb) but find it to be a magical, warm and welcoming... more

We chose Greenmount Lodge from the B&B handbook and TripAdvisor's reviews. Omagh itself is a nice little town. Most of Northern Ireland is really very pretty and in April it was very green in Northern Ireland, with the yellow grouse covering hillsides. Our main interest was the Ulster-American Folk Park north of Omagh, and we took a drive to a... more

We arrived to what seemed like a place closed for the winter. I knocked on the kitchen window and proprietor, Mrs. Reed, came around to let us in. She was one of the lasting memories of our trip to Ireland. We dubbed her "Mrs. Doubtfire" because of the authoritarian mask that was a thin veneer on this warm hearted hostess.... more

Beautiful Lodge down a country lane on the outskirts of Omagh. The owner has the reputation of the 'best cooking' in the region, and while we missed Dinner, breakfast was great. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, with the lodge being situated on a beautiful working farm. There is a very nice upstairs meeting room, 'lodge fashion'. An A+... more

This was our first B&B for our trip and only a few minutes drive from Omagh. Mrs Reed was a very friendly hostess (even allowing me to sit in her office to connect my laptop to write home). The breakfast was very good consisting of the Ulster Fry along with fresh fruits, cereals, juice, tea, etc. The beds were comfortable.... more

Myself & my partner have been 4 times over the last 2 years. The proprietors son always remembers us by name &... more

We stayed here and found Mrs Reed to be great and the food was of a high standard. The tall man who serves the breakfast and does the cleaning, is the double of Prince Charles , complete with the accent and ears!! He seems to know all the local history and he cleaned our room very well - jack of... more

On our way to another town, we became too tired to continue to travel, The Greenmount Lodge was the only place that had a room available. We were so happy that we stayed there. They are the friendliest most accomdating people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The room was lovely and very clean. The food the next... more
