This is a charming B&B in an excellent location on the Bogside of Derry. The host was gracious (despite our family of 7 being quite a bit late for check-in), helpful & fun. The rooms are taseful, with comfortable beds & beautiful linens. Modern showers in the rooms. There is a sitting room with computer & TV which my family... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Serendipity House. Good rooms and a tasty breakfast. Very helpful host who helped us with maps and recommended us what to see, and where to eat. A good place from where to investigate very interesting Derry.

This was a wonderful place to stay! The bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious! But the view was incredible! We had a room overlooking the city walls and cathedrial. It was a real treat to go to sleep and wake up looking at such a remarkable view!

I booked a double room (room 5) for three nights for single use, but was allocated room 4 instead, which I think is a smaller room. The shower room in particular was tiny and probably best suited to a single traveller than a couple. Having said that the room was clean and tidy, the bed very comfortable and the whole... More

My son and I were on a fantastic tour of Ireland for 6 days with Paddywagon Tours-- stayed in B & Bs all over Ireland. Serendipity House was by far the best one! This was the best B&B I have ever stayed in. I stayed n room 5, a cosy room with fantastic views of Derry that was so homely that I almost didn't want to leave it to explore the city. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful and I cannot praise this accommodation enough.

Stayed here last night, after a really early flight for work Steven was kind enough to let us check in early for a sleep. Room was spotless, views excellent and it was great value for money.Bathroom was a bit of a squeeze but the shower was excellent. Breakfast included and a cooked breakfast was only a few quid. Wouldn't hesitate... More

Booked a twin room - given a double + single but single bed more suited to a child than adult. Room very cramped. No proper drawers to unpack into. No storage for cases. Room was not made up on second day (a Sunday) - beds unmade, tea cups dirty, supplies not topped up. No cooked breakfast was available on Sunday... More
