I couldn't praise the Abbey high enough for its high standards and the feeling of coming to visit family every time we stay here . It's just fabulous and Seamus Helen and all the staff are just amazing lovely hosts. The rooms are very spacious spotless and decorated to a very high level, and the breakfasts are the best! Thank you... More

We stayed here in October 2013 for two nights. What can I say!! Abbey B&B is perfectly located in Derry to explore all the sights & history of this magnificent city. My favourite place in the whole of Ireland!! The owner Seamus Kennedy, was a perfect host, showing us places to see, eat & drink. He welcomed us & made... More

There's a review of Abbey B&B, where a person from Washington complains about it's "scary" location. Have mercy ffs, it's Derry's Bogside! Location is one of main assets in this case. And B&B itself is nice and cosy, owners will feed you well and then they'll give you a map and tell you where to go to to get the... More

I had a room upstairs that was nicely furnished, clean, quiet and comfortable. The morning's breakfast was cooked to order and tasted fine. This is a good location for walking to the City Walls and many other attractions. There is a tea room cafe which has food available during the day, and is located where guests are served breakfast.

The owners were so helpful. Room was immaculate and quiet. Breakfast: amazing. And tea and coffee available at all times. We stayed in the ground floor room and were very pleased- this was the first week of October, and it was very quiet. Perfect location.

I am confused after reading the reviews on Abbey B&B. My friend and I stayed there September 21 with the intent of staying 2 nights. We left the next day. Our room was downstairs, next to the stairs leading to the second floor. Heard everyone coming in, going out. Loud voices at 2:00 am outside on the "patio". The linens... More

I was waiting for this one......There is only one ABBEY B&B....So cynicism does not work with us... the staff who were working Paula and Laura found both these guests quite abrupt and were dismissive of any assistance when they arrived....they were give our disabled room (we don,t use the term handicap) on arrival as one guest was elderly....Paula said they... Seamus is passionate about his city, and shared this with us at our recent stay in Derry. His B and B is clean, comfortable and absolutely central . He is also a keen musician and we are guessing that the next anthems for Derry is his composition! So you get not just a warm and informative. host when you stay... More
