Stayed here on recommendation from tourist office. Parking was a little difficult during the day as there is a major office across the road. We had an upstairs room which was a little cosy, however adequate. Very little noise at night and bed was very comfy. Breakfast was good with tea and coffee available all the time. Ensuite to room was... More

We were booked into the BnB next door but they had a problem with their heating so Seamus took over our booking instead. Room had just been fully refurbished and was to high standard. Soft carpet, tv, nice colour scheme and a very powerful shower. Breakfast was very good and served in a great room, with lots of interesting photos... More

A very pleasant B&B, breakfast is really good (a real Irish breakfast with all the trimmings!). It's very central - you just walk down William St. and you're right in the city centre. The owner, Seamus, is a character, a songwriter - very friendly and an interesting person generally.

This was a nice B&B, but only about average. There are no complaints, but nothing outstanding. It was a convient walk to some interesting sights as well as the walled city. Parking was not always convenient. We stayed there is September 2014.

We spent one night here and were very happy. Seamus the owner wasn't there but we were greeted and given a warm welcome and shown to our room. The room was spacious and perfect for our needs. The shower was a definite plus, the water pressure is great and it was invigorating! We were helped with advice on getting around... More

I would advise anyone looking for a B & B in Derry to forget Abbey Bed and Breakfast. When we arrived in late afternoon the place was locked up tight as a drum. Another family was also waiting. After about 45 minutes the owner finally showed up not once apologizing for his tardiness. We had reserved 3 rooms including one... More

My partner and I stayed at the Abbey B&B for four nights, whilst we visited Derry for a wedding (29th Oct - 2nd Nov 2014). The owners and staff were so lovely and friendly. The breakfast, room and location was ideal! Nothing was too much trouble. I'd absolutely recommend this place, and would easily stay again. It's so close to... More

We arrived in the evening and it was fairly dark and quiet around the b&b area. Luckily a man showed up right as we were trying to figure out how to get in and let us in and checked us in real quickly. We got our key and headed up to our room #4. The room was pretty small and... More

A "standard bed & breakfast" located in Derry city center. Nice room with a quite small bathroom. Very friendly owner will serve you a rich breakfast (both continental and traditional Irish). Recommended if you are looking for a low budget room near the city center.
