We got there on a Saturday afternoon and they had a room available. We got 5£ discount because of last minute booking. The room was very nice, very clean and quiet. Bathroom normal, shower big enough and very comfortable bed. The full Irish breakfast was very good, but that was the only choice for breakfast other than cereal and milk.... More

I'll admit to choosing the Abbey based on it's name beginning with "A", which put it at the beginning of my list. The price was right, as well. I'd never been to Derry and didn't know the local geography. I was thrilled to find a centrally located B&B with a wonderful access to everything in town. The room was more... More

We were on a touring holiday in Northern Ireland we had visited friends and family in Newcastle and in Belfast and as we had a Hire Car we decide to spend a day and night in Derry. We found this B & B on line and picked it for its close proximity to central Derry we had not realised that... More

This is one of the greatest bed and breakfasts we have ever stayed in and we travelled throughtout Scotland and Ireland . It is located in the a very historic area of Ireland , surrounded by quaint shops , good pubs and museums. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, breakfast was great

We had arranged to do a tour in Derry and our guide recommended and booked the Abbey B&B, we arrived and what a pleasent surprise. We felt like family from the moment we arrived. Our room was huge and exceeded our needs. The breakfast was outstanding. And a bargin for the price. Easy walking distance to basically anything you want... More

This is my favorite B&B in my favorite city in Northern Ireland. Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and private. We had a stylish 2 bed room on the first floor with a private bathroom and free wi-fi. Breakfast was delicious. What more could you need? Oh right, the coolest owners. Sheamus was awesome to talk to and a... More

This is located in a very blue collar neighborhood just out side the city wall. It is extremely close to everything and I never moved my car once. When we pulled up in front of it my wife was very skeptical but after looking at the room I decided it was ok. Seamon the owner asked for cash up front...the... More

This guest emailed and booked a room which was held for him and his wife for almost 6 months, he made it clear that that no charge would be made until arrival, I agreed. He requested a room with a large bed or 2 single beds. It is our policy that payments are paid on arrival, we have our reasons... More
