We stayed at the B&B for 3 nights as we were coming to Northern Ireland for the first time to attend a family wedding and took the chance to explore what the country has to offer. From the moment we arrived - very disheveled after a 6am flight - we were taken care of by the kind and accommodating staff,... More

Nice little B and B within walking distance of the wall, murals, Peace bridge. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was typical. It was a decent place to stay. Room has TV, wi-fi. The place also operates a tea room during the day.

Seamus was a brilliant host, as much as we tried to confuse the room arrangements ;-)! I stayed with 7 other friends for 3 nights and the b+b gave everything we needed; comfortable rooms, brilliant breakfast, and really good recommendations for where to go in Derry. My parents are due to visit Derry soon and I would definitely recommend the... More

Spacious rooms, tasty breakfast, very warm service, and speedy wifi. The location is great, especially if you're interested in exploring the history of the Bogside neighborhood (the murals, Museum of Free Derry, and Free Derry corner are fascinating). It's also just a short walk up the hill to the walls and the center of Derry. We would definitely return.

However the parking situation was a surprise when we got here. The place is on a one way. It is free parking so during working hours it is packed. After 5 and on weekends it's not to bad. That's my only annoyance, other then that this place was great. The owners were so nice and easy to talk with. The... More

Abbey is a great place run by great people. Seamus treated us like old friends and so did his staff. Breakfast every morning was outstanding. The room was big, clean and comfortable. We went for the history of Derry and the location of Abbey couldn't be better, right near the Free Derry Museum. We'll absolutely stay at Abbey again and... More

Four of us stayed at this bed and breakfast on May 16th & 17th. It was in a super location. The rooms were a good size and the breakfasts were great. Seamus was helpful about sites in Derry and Ellie was our server. She was a dear; very patient and kind. Everything was clean and neat and we felt very... More

I visited with my partner and parents. We had two rooms on the ground floor, and these were large in size. Seamus greeted us and we were told about the sites and given recommendations for supper. The location of this b&b is perfect for exploring the city as it is not far from the city walls and it is located... More

The location is so perfect. It's in the Bogside and about a 5-minute walk to the walls of Derry and just down the street from all the murals of Bloody Sunday. We felt so at home here. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Seamus was a wonderful host. We had a bubble in our tire and needed to have it... More

I couldn't praise the Abbey high enough for its high standards and the feeling of coming to visit family every time we stay here . It's just fabulous and Seamus Helen and all the staff are just amazing lovely hosts. The rooms are very spacious spotless and decorated to a very high level, and the breakfasts are the best!
