Great wee B&B close to everything you want in Derry City. 2-5minute walk from some great pubs/restaurants and just round the corner from Free Derry walk and murals. We were welcomed with a friendly face (didn't catch her name) and she promptly had a fresh pot of coffee in front of us while we waited for Seamus to arrive. Clean... More

I have never stayed at a b&b before so I was not sure what to expect. I booked this because I was going to watch my son in the foyle cup. One of the parents who has lived in the city suggested it. She said it was close enough for me to walk to most things and she knew the... More

Upon arrival, my girlfriend and I were greeted by Seamus (the owner) he seemed like a very interesting man and the pictures in the breakfast room emphasise this. Seamus and his staff couldn't do enough for us and made us feel like they really cared. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. If I was to return I... More

This is a small, cozy B&B in the heart of the Catholic side of Derry. Seamus was a excellent host, even driving our party back to the Visitor Centre to meet a walking tour. The location is close to the mural areas and the City Centre within the walls. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean. Price was right. Parking is... More

Thanks for your review and glad you had a nice stay. Only one point, Derry is a City of different traditions, religion and nationalities. It is now 2015,your perception by defining a location by religion is not totally accurate and I can assure people who visit Abbey B&B that regardless of your Culture Creed Color or Sexuality, we are here... On arrival, Seamus made us most welcome and offered us a nice cup of tea. Gave us great recommendations as to where we could eat and also find some good music. We had a most enjoyable stay. I will heartily recommend this B&B to friends.

A small, cozy B&B with a cute, small dining area. Clean and comfortable yes, "luxurious" no. Can walk to many of Derry's attractions/landmarks from the B&B. Owner Seamus very nice and helpful. I think the bottom line is that if you like smaller B&B's, you'll like the Abbey. If you prefer the relative anonymity of a standard hotel setting, you... More

Great location to see the sights of Derry. We could easily walk to a couple of attractions, then back to the B&B, before walking the old city wall to a recommended pub (obviously well liked by the locals) for a fun dinner.

Stayed here on recommendation from tourist office. Parking was a little difficult during the day as there is a major office across the road. We had an upstairs room which was a little cosy, however adequate. Very little noise at night and bed was very comfy. Breakfast was good with tea and coffee available all the time. Ensuite to room was... More
