Stayed here for an overnighter, was attending a music concert in The Millenium Forum Theatre nearby. Area is nice and quiet and there was ample on-street car parking. As I'd driven up from Dublin, I'd no cash on me, this venue doesn't accept cards so make sure and have the requisite cash to pay when you arrive as the first... More

This hostel made our trip. The stories he had to tell were amazing. Prime location just next to the bogside and the pubs. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else. You will definitely meet interesting people during your stay.

Such a cheap wee place to stay. Easy to access and such a comfy nights sleep. The owner is lovely and helpful Only downside, the room I stayed in didn't have a mirror and I was heading out that night, so it was a bit annoying Other than that, it was a nice wee place to stay :)

I found this hostel from being told by another hostel and glad I did as it has easy access storage for bicycles (I was cycling). The hostel is very clean and the beds comfortable. Shower and toilets are VG. Breakfast is what I would have at home so spot on. Lady on duty was friendly but clearly in charge and... More

only spent one night here. however, both the hostel and the city of derry stand out as highlights of my trip to ireland. the owner is lovely and so very helpful, as I found the other members of the hostel staff, as well. the hostel itself is extremely homey due to the fact that it is a converted house, which... Small place, more like a house than a youth hostel. 2 bathrooms (clean, one shower in each) for everyone means a line in the morning if you're not the first to get there. Small rooms but comfortable beds. Be careful, no credit card machine, have enough cash when you arrive (pounds or euros).

I recently stayed here for the foyle cup.. I can say that I am disgusted at the treatment we received from the owners. Aggressively pursuing more money than the agreed price. We have received countless voicemails issuing threats if we didn't pay up. We were promised breakfast available in the morning for the 12 people staying there which was not... More

It is a wonderful place! Much more than a hostel, it seems like a family house. General maintenance and specially the cleanliness are spectacular. The owner and staff are very nice and friendly. It´s not very central, but Derry is not a big city, and in 15/20 minutes you can reach the hostel from the bus station, but leaves your... More

What can I say about the place........a hidden gem in our great city!!I needed a place to stay due to work being carried out in the house, and after trying several hostels and b&b,I came across this place in the local directories. And can i say,so glad the other places were fully booked. The phone call itself was a joy, with Stella knocking a...
