Lovely location situated on a country road close to Derry and Donegal. Also easy to get to Tyrone and other parts of Northern Ireland and Giants Causeway. Must also visit Atlantic Drive and Inishowen 100 in Donegal. This is a new building with a fine power shower. Irish breakfast cooked as you arrive at your table. The hosts are very... more

The accomodation and grounds are excellent. The service provided was superb. Excellent scenery. Close to town but feels far enough away to be away from the hustle and bustle. Only 5 mins taxi to town approx £4.50. Superb breakfast. Would definately recommend this B&B to anyone staying in LondonDerry. more

This is a very new house 'B+B'. Its setup like a small hotel in some way. It was so easy to book online, and when we arrived the Internet was reliable and easy to use. A+ for technology. What really impressed me (being from New Zealand) was the shower! It was higher water pressure than anything else we have seen... more

The night that we stayed, Saturday, July 11/09, was a prearranged open house for Groarty Manor,... more

We visited Derry midweek (Tues-Thu) for a short relaxing break away from work in London. We realised upon arrival that the Derry countryside was a major plus point of the area (though didn't know that previously). Groarty house is set in the outskirts of the city with lovely views of the surrounding hills - we ventured out many times and... more
