Another fabulous day at the Everglades in Derry. What a wedding! The whole experience was brilliant from start to finish. We had a lovely welcome from the lady on reception and our room was ready earlier than expected. Our room was spotless and modern and the bed was super comfy. The wedding room was beautifully decorated and the service from... More

Having stayed here several times previously, I have to confess my stay this week was, by comparison, disappointing. In no particular order, the bathroom was very small, with the wash basin cramped in one corner of the room. There was also nowhere in the shower to put shower gels/shampoo etc (other than the floor where they can easily fall over).... More

When I booked this hotel I did so on my experience of other Hastings hotels and I think that's the first mistake I made. We paid £163.00 for two nights B&B in a family room for 2 adults and a 4-year old child. I thought for a 4 star rating this was a good price but with our visit behind... More

Stayed in the Everglades for the Bank Holiday with few friends as a special treat, we were not disappointed!! Greeted with champagne a beautiful new reception & lobby. We had afternoon tea with delicious scones & treats, continuing with drinks in the lobby. Had a lovely time, thank you Everglades will be back :)

I stayed at the Everglades recently. It was my first stay in a hotel with my family and it was an absolute treat from beginning to end. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and upgraded to a beautiful suite on arrival. The suite was exceptional. It was perfect for the kids with everything we needed & more. The... More

Stayed at the Everglades on the 24th of June. The hotel was being renovated due to a recent fire that had destroyed most of the hotel. The checkin was swift, thought the hotel did not provide wifi in the rooms and only the lobby was wifi enabled causing a huge crowd gathering to access the wifi in the eveing. May... More

We recently passed through Derry on our way to Donegal and stayed at the Everglades while we treated ourselves out to an amazing meal at Browns Restaurant. It's a crying shame that the one thing Derry lacks is a really good hotel. The Everglades would like to be that but just isn't. When we arrived we discovered that the main... More

This is a nice hotel in a good location. We stopped for two nights under separate bookings and both times had a good experience. Check in is timely, welcoming and efficient and the rooms are spacious enough with very comfortable beds. The hotels has all the creature comforts that you would expect although there is a separate charge for Wi-Fi... More

We booked two nights B and B with one evening meal. We were told that only a twin room was available as hotel almost full up. We agreed. Arrived to find renovations in place with temp foyer, workmen and work tools etc scattered about. However the biggest shock was the room which was small and cramped.Net curtains on windows stained...
