The B&B is in a good location to visit the city. The room is nice, the bed comfortable the bath was clean. They gave us all the information needed about the main attractions, place to visit, where have dinner and live music. The breakfast was good and generous. It's the perfect solution to enjoy Derry.

“Arrive as visitors leave as friends” nothing could be truer. A well presented, friendly guest house with a wonderful welcoming host and family (and Veronica) Nothing is too much trouble, a most courteous host and a fountain of information. Derry is well worth a visit, good nightlife, a pint in the Rocking Chair on entertainment night essential, Easy to drive... More

Nice B&B, close to the walled city. Clean and plenty of room. Thomas was extremely courteous and helpful, making you feel welcome. He is quite the historian, living there his whole life. Really took his time giving background of the city from the 1600's up to the troubles. Gave excellent directions on where to go along with suggestions on where to... More

Stayed here one night on a visit to Derry. Our room was out the back and although small it was functional and had everything we needed. Breakfast was also good. We had a car so getting into the city was not a problem but I wouldn't have liked to walked uphill from the city back to the accommodation.

I was most impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts. Thomas took us to the highest point above Derry and shared the history of the region. It was magnificent. He then dropped us off at the medieval walls. Wonderful! I also have to say that Derry and Northern Ireland are charming with a hard history worth understanding. The... More

The B&B is an inviting, friendly and comfortable place to stay. But you need to realise that although it is close to the town centre it is up the top of a fearsome hill, so walking up to it is a distinct challenge. We were surprised that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but then maybe we... More

I've been to a lot of places and stayed in a lot of different hotels/hostels/B&Bs, and this place is by FAR my absolute favorite. The owners are just so lovely and friendly and accommodating. They genuinely make you feel like you're family who have come to visit. The rooms are very pretty and clean and comfortable. Derry is a wonderful... More

When I was looking for where to stay in Derry, I chose the Rose Park House but couldn't make the reservation for our party of 3, so I emailed and Thomas responded offering us a wonderful deal for 2 rooms, since the 'family' room was already booked and we took him up on it. We arrived on our check-in date... More

Rose Park House is a classic Edwardian (?) era house well located at the top of a hill past the Catholic cathedral and a large park. It is an easy 10/15 minute walk downhill into the city centre. We walked back quite comfortably but a taxi will only cost £3.00 we were told. Exploring the city centre made the friendly... More

This is an amazing B&B, I've stayed here several times and I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Derry. The staff, Thomas, Mary and Veronica are very friendly and go out of their way to make your visit a memorable one. The Rooms are very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are just truly scrumptious, I can't wait for... More
