29/03/2015 Me and my family have just spent two glorious weeks at Elaghvale Lodge The peace and quite was amazing, and the view stunning. The self-catering cottage, is beautifully decorated, and perfectly maintained. It is the perfect distance from the City of Derry, and the County of Donegal My family and I were thrilled, at the location in the lovely... More

Anne went out of her way to make our stay possible and to make us feel at home. We stayed in a nice big clean room with gorgeous views in the distance of a hilltop fort and Donegal and nearer views of the sheep and caravan park. I even spotted mischievous sheep greeting the morning by escaping into the campground/caravan... More

This B&B has a lovely countryside feel to it , spectacular views from the living / breakfast room, but still close enough to the city of Derry. Large, airy and clean rooms and a memorable breakfast. Anne gave a great example of Irish hospitality at it's best.

Anne our hostess is like having a mother. Nothing is too much trouble. The accomodation is warm and comfortable. The highlight for long term travellers is the washing machine and dryer. You couldn't get a more hospitalbe person and as we had travelled around the UK and Ireland for 5 weeks we'd experienced all levels. Its about 10 minutues from... More

As I write this review, it has been a number of months since I had the pleasure of staying at Elaghvale Lodge and I thought this business deserved due recognition for their outstanding service and quality of accommodation. The main attraction to Elaghvale for us was it's self contained accommodation which was located separately from our host's house; however due... More
