Stayed with a school group. Seems like there is a disconnect between the restaurant and the rest of the hotel. Restaurant was good for both breakfast and dinner and very interesting ascetically, as was the lobby. Rooms, by comparison, were dated and dingy, but not awful. Window didn't open much and did nothing to relieve the heat in the room.... More

Stayed here during the clipper week in derry. Seemed a bit dated on arrival but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked into reception, nice clean modern decor. The receptionist was very efficient on checkin. She was very helpful when we decided to take a local tour of the city. Bedroom was slightly dated but was very clean and had... More

My partner & I had a romantic break away and we choose the Waterfoot, & Im so happy we did. The staff are amazing, the food was great & the decor was so funky & modern! We stayed in room 218, which is a really lovely room. We had a meal in the winebar & we were going to go... More

We stayed here one weekend recently, reading the reviews about this hotel we weren't expecting the four seasons, but we did not expect this and worst. We definitely did not find value in our stay, ad we were truly disappointed, especially after looking at the reviews and pictures on the actual hotel website, which i find surprising. 1. The room... This was horrible. Dreadful. I can't even believe the pictures they have posted and have no idea where they got those. First off--The postcode took us to a location about a mile away and on a different street. Secondly the receptionist (blonde) was short and cold--not at all the friendly hospitality we were used to on this trip. The wifi... More

This hotel was very disappointing. Our room was quite dated, dirty, and uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty with a huge gap between the floor and tub. The lights and TV didn't work, but it turned out the TV was disconnected and the lights weren't plugged in. Perhaps this wasn't a room used often? Also, the window was cracked. The carpet... More

We stayed two nights. the Food and room was fine for the price. There was a Wedding on the second night and the noise was unacceptabe we did not get to sleep until the party stoped at 1.30am. Then the noise of people returning to their rooms. We complained to the staff and they said that there was a wedding... More

Stayed here last week for a family members wedding, the reception was lovely and modern but the rooms were dated. My main problem was the beds, old mattresses which weren't comfortable and kept us awake most of the night. At the beginning of our stay breakfast was fantastic but be prepared for self service on weekends (and waiting for food... More

Ok, so it's a first world problem, but when you chose the place with this in mind, it's an issue. It caused quite a bit of trouble with travel issues for the next day. Room-spacious and relatively clean Bathroom - relatively clean Location - far from downtown, but you should know this when you book it. Staff - friendly, and... More
