I stayed here with my wife and her cousin which was a handy spot to do some climbing in the Mourne Mountains. We had a warm welcome and the rooms were clean and tidy and we had a very pleasant stay. The Tv's in the rooms were a bit small but we didn't mind too much. The breakfast was really... More

We were attending a wedding in the Slice Donald and we stayed in this B&B as part of a group. We were met at the door by Joe the owner who was friendly and welcoming. The B&B is less than 5 min walk from the hotel. The room we had was big and the bathroom adequate for our needs. The... More

Wake up with the sunrise over the Irish Sea, right outside your window, especially in rooms 2, 3 & 4. The new owner Joe was welcoming and able to meet our spontaneous request for two rooms. Proper Ulster Fry in the morning plus a continental breakfast buffet. Modern bathroom and classic hallways. The upper floor is accessible for those with... More

We stayed here for one night last week. Great location, so close to the main line of shops etc not to mention the beach. The bathroom was fantastic, obviously recently done up and brilliant. However the deco really let the place down. So old fashioned. The TV is one of those tiny tiny TVs from the 90's and it's mounted... More

Went to Quinns bar for blues night and chose this for its location. Location was very good with convenient parking nearby. Room was good size and en suite good. Breakfast was very good and would not hesitate to return

We arrived in Newcastle, Co. Down and found the landlady Coleen very welcoming. We went out in a pub up the street Quinns, which I would highly recommend. We were in very late, maybe 1am and had no comments passed. The B+B has an excellent view. The room was fine and while the décor was a bit dated, it was... More

We stayed one night to go walking. Very old fashioned but clean. Good location in the centre. Friendly couple who provided a great breakfast but muesli wasn't covered overnight. Only one lamp out of four worked in the room. The television was an old fashioned 15 inch which was placed very high and far away. The en suite shower room... More

This B&B is fine if you are going to be tucked up in bed by 9pm. For somewhere that is based in the centre of a town with a very very noisy bar/night club at the end of the street, its seems ironic that the owners are not keen on young people who might want to stay out late or... More
