Quite disappointing. We were looking forward to our night away from our little ones to attend a friend's wedding. Unfortunately the welcome we received was weak, the smell from the family's dogs permeated the home and was quite sickening and our room was downstairs right beside the dining room and the family's living quarters. Therea and John made us and our dog feel very welcomed on our stay. The room and amenities were good. The breakfast was very good and they provided a lot of choice. We would stay there again and would recommend to friends.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of August. Our dog was able to stay with us as this is B&B is pet friendly, which I believe is an asset. John was very welcoming and a very good host. Super! Had a last minute trip to Ireland and found this B and B by the seaside. I'm so glad I did. Fantastic family business, was made to feel very welcome. Had a very lovely stay at the fairy glen b,b Theresa n John were so welcoming to us !! Made ya feel right at home, we brought our 2 wee dogs and they loved it too, must say had the most relaxing 3 days in long time, breakfast was really nice enjoyed it big time 10 out of 10 :)... More

Really enjoyed stayin here ,so close to the sea front with lovely restaurants that you could easily forget about the car for a night or two !! the rooms were clean and tidy and the bath was amazing ... And the people too , couldn't do enough for us ! Will be staying there again :-) hopefully very soon

We arrived in Newcastle at the weekend and were recommended Fairy Glen by the tourist office. Lucky for us, Fairy Glen had had a late cancellation and we got a room. Our first break in years and we are so glad we found "Fairy Glen" :) situated just off the promenade, made it easy for a nice evening stroll.....Theresa & John were extremely accommodating hosts, warm and friendly...made us feel welcome and at ease.
