this has to be by far one of the worst hotel experience ever ,, the room was more what I would call an unfinished project than an unacceptable place to sleep, there were wires hangin out of the wall, holes in the walls and the toilet area had what I would call a bit of wood on hinges, no door... more

Maureen, the manageress and Noel the owner make you feel at home in this converted cotton mill. Noel has been restoring the place for years in a labour of love. The rooms are full of character but as they are traditional stone may need time to warm up if you are there in winter. Some rooms in the Grannery have... more

We used the Ballydugan Mill for our reception after our wedding and I find it hard to fault them on the day. Noel, the owner and his daughter Mary made everyone feel extremely welcome and went out of their way to meet everyones needs. The mill is in a peaceful countryside location with plent of parking and the building itself... more

We were staying at the Mill for our friends wedding that was taking place there. The setting was absolutely beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful at all times (they even gave me some batteries for my camera - twice!). We were staying in the Grannary and, although the hostess had forgotten to turn on the heating and water it was... more

It is impossible to find as it is not sign posted at all and is in the middle of nowhere! Awkward and unreasonable 'hostess' left us angry and disappointed... i would not recommend this place. On arrival (for a friends wedding) we were told that there had been 2 rooms booked in our name (we only ordered one) - there... more

This review is about the restaurant. On a whim we called in one sunday afternoon for lunch as we were passing. The meal was one of the worst i have ever had. To begin with the red wine was served cold as if it had just come out of the fridge. I had smoked salmon which was as dry as... more

This is an excellent location for a get away from it all trip. We were there for a civil partnership - not the sort of setting many would have picked but it was a great choice. The accommodation is in two parts the Mill and then the outbuildings - we were in the latter of which have is almost complete... more

I was in a bind for accommodations, and these wonderful people found a lovely room for me, even though they were completely booked up with a huge wedding party. Innkeeper and staff who asked if I'd like some tea or coffee while I was waiting. It's these little caring things that give me a good feeling about a place. Then,... more

Stayed here for 1 night in September. We can have no complaints. Was welcomed and taken to see the room to check that it was suitable. Helped with suitcases and taken upstairs. Food at dinner and breakfast was good and all staff were friendly and helpful. If you are looking for boutique type or chain hotel with hi-tech mod cons... more
