Dundrum House is an early 18th century country manor house which is also a working farm run by the owners Elizabeth and Larry Nugent. The Nugents spent 9 years sympathetically renovating the house to a very high standard, retaining many original features. It has 3 guest ensuite shower rooms, 2 guest lounges, one with wi fi acces. In adddition to... more

We found this place randomly through searches online. The only reason we even went to Armagh/Tassagh was to stay here on our way back to Dublin. An 18th century manor is definitely the way to go! The room was very clean with two lovely windows overlooking the lawn. The hallways and common rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The... more

Booked one evening here as we were visiting local restaurant. Very comfortable room in a great house in a lovely setting. Liz and Larry are welcoming hosts and after a good breakfast in the beautiful dining room, we were shown around the self catering cottage which is a fantastic renovation job and is wheelchair friendly. Would definitely use this B... more

Having read the reviews here on Tripadvisor, I was pretty sure what to expect at Dundrum House and was also pretty sure it was my sort of place. And yes, Dundrum House lived up to expectations. It's a beautiful farmhouse located in lovely countryside a short drive from Armagh. We were warmly greeted on arrival, shown to our rooms and... more

My partner and I spent 3 nights at the Dundrum and loved every minute. From the moment Larry greets you at the door you're made to feel completely at home - and it's a very special kind of home too, far above your normal B&B. The dining room is "something else" and has been renovated in the style it would... more

A fantastic 18th century manor home with sheep on the front pasture and warmth inside. Larry and Liz were gracious hosts who went above & beyond for our visit. The property is newly refurbished and comfortable. Bedrooms are large and accomodating with excellent en suite "facilities". All were very clean. The dining room was palacial with an excellent breakfast cooked... more

My better half and I stayed at the Dundrum House after reading all of the positive reviews here on tripadvisor.com. I must say, the reviews were absolutely correct . The hosts were spectacular (and knowledgeable, friendly) and helped us feel very welcome as first-time visitors to Ireland. The Irish breakfast was delicious, as I'd read, and we would highly, HIGHLY... more

Wow! Beautiful property, excellent food and outstanding hosts & staff. We loved our stay and we're sad to leave. It was an excellent base for touring Northern Ireland. If we return, this is the only place I'll stay! more

We stayed at many excellent bed and breakfasts in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Dundrum House is at the very top of our list. Before we even left the states Liz was extremely helpful in finding train and bus schedules for us and even in holding tickets for English trains when the tickets could not be mailed to... more
