I decided on Armagh as my base for exploring Northern Ireland and was very happy with the Hillview Lodge. It was easy to find, had a lot of parking. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual cold breakfast as well as eggs, sauage, ham, etc. The eating room is large and there is also a nice... more

We stayed here in January and had a great time, our room was huge and immaculate. The bed was comfy and the ensuite was definitly hotel standard and more. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The owners couldn't have done more for us, seemed purpose built and more like a hotel than a B&B. All in all an excellent base for... more

Yes - it is rather an odd set up, a Guest House and a Golf Driving Range in one. But it works. Situated just outside Armagh (so you will need to drive to get dinner etc). Warm and welcoming with well above standard en-suite rooms - more 3 star hotel than guest house. Super-friendly owners who live in a house... more

The B&B was easy to find and had excellent car parking! We were welcomed with such enthusiasm it seemed almost over the top! The room was spacious although of an odd design (a seperate room for one bed!). The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The only glaring ommision was tea making facilities in the room, although the inclusion... more

From the moment I noticed the prominent For Sale sign and tacky lawn gnome at the entry, I had a feeling something was up. Let me say--the lodge is clean, the breakfast is fine, not cooked to order but adequate. The Proprietors sleep walk through their duties, just awaiting a buyer, and for future guests, I hope that occurs soon.... more

Alice and Dermot greeted us personally when we arrived and instantly made us feel welcome. The room we stayed in was on the small side but plenty of room for what we needed. Tea and coffee were provided in the room but Alice made us a fresh pot of tea after we'd unpacked that we enjoyed in the conservatory, looking... more

Hillview Lodge was an amazing place to be with the proprietors being friendly and extremely helpful. The place itself was absolutely amazing, with the views breathtaking and not being too far from convenient shopping, eating, etc. I would recommend this place to anyone planning a trip near this area! more
