Greeted by both the host and hostess with big smiles and helping hands. He insisted on carrying our bags to our room. Our room was huge and the bathrooms were wonderful. It had a great location, especially for golfers. We had a wonderful breakfast overlooking beautiful scenery.

This was our third visit to Hillview Lodge and it was lovely to be back. Alice and Dermot are wonderful and so welcoming, particularly after a trying day of travel thanks to fog at Heathrow! The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the shower powerful and hot, just what was needed. Great breakfast - cooked for him, continental for... More

We stayed here during our attendance of Slane and it was the nicest place we ever stayed. The service was warm and friendly and very punctual, the beds were very comfortable and our breakfast was delightful. If you ever get a chance to see Foo Fighters at Slane stay at this Inn, its a magical experience.

We had such a great experience staying here. Our hosts Alice & Dermot are a delightful couple, willing to help where they can. Alice very kindly offered to pick up our laundry from town, & on another day Dermot dropped us into the Bus station so we would not have to bother with the car & parking etc. The rooms... More

We spent four days last week in Co. Armagh and found that this lodge is an ideal place for anyone who wants clean and well run accommodation at reasonable prices, in a countryside setting, but only a mile from the centre of Armagh City. The owners, Alice and Dermot, are very welcoming and always cheerful and they serve a very... More

this is ideal accommodation for a larger family who have kids that are too young for a separate room. There is a fantastic family room with 2 double beds and 2 single beds-this is difficult to find. Very clean and spacious-like a hotel. Delicious cooked breakfast. Alice and dermot are lovely and so helpful- our 7 year old got a... More
