The B&B was easy to find and had excellent car parking! We were welcomed with such enthusiasm it seemed almost over the top! The room was spacious although of an odd design (a seperate room for one bed!). The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The only glaring ommision was tea making facilities in the room, although the inclusion... more

From the moment I noticed the prominent For Sale sign and tacky lawn gnome at the entry, I had a feeling something was up. Let me say--the lodge is clean, the breakfast is fine, not cooked to order but adequate. The Proprietors sleep walk through their duties, just awaiting a buyer, and for future guests, I hope that occurs soon.... more

Alice and Dermot greeted us personally when we arrived and instantly made us feel welcome. The room we stayed in was on the small side but plenty of room for what we needed. Tea and coffee were provided in the room but Alice made us a fresh pot of tea after we'd unpacked that we enjoyed in the conservatory, looking... more

Hillview Lodge was an amazing place to be with the proprietors being friendly and extremely helpful. The place itself was absolutely amazing, with the views breathtaking and not being too far from convenient shopping, eating, etc. I would recommend this place to anyone planning a trip near this area! more

I stayed at Hillview Lodge this year during my visit to Northern Ireland. Since it was the first B&B for me to stay in in Ireland I expected the rest , during my visit, to be the same - they were not. I would go back to Hillview Lodge again and again. The owners are lovely people who make you... more

The Hillview Lodge was beautiful. Everything about it was lovely. It was built by the owners and the love that went into it translates into everything there. It set the standard for every B&B we visited traveling in Ireland last year and none could match it. I can't wait to go back this year and stay longer. more

It was a lovely place to stay. Away fron the City (5-10 minute drive). As two golfer on a golfing holiday, the golf practice driving range was unexpected. The hosts were warm and helpful. We are booked in again in 2003 and staying a few more days. more
