Went for lunch at the restaurant. Waited 50 minutes for our starter and then had to enquire the whereabouts of the children's food, ridiculous. When it arrived it was just ok. I'm aware that it was busy but the staff really should communicate better with patrons. If not for our older relatives my wife and I would have left. Won't... More

Stayed for a Saturday night here in August 2015, had read other reviews so wasn't expecting anything special. Hotel was old and worn looking and could do with a major revamp, room was basic but done the job, bathroom was adequate for one night but not sure I would stay longer than that. Breakfast was deep fried Ulster fry, not... More

Excellent food in the Bistro but rooms need an updating. Water pressure weak. Very nice staff though, Excellent location though where you can walk to everything including art district, St. Pat's Cathedral, pubs, and eateries. Room was very clean.

I've never stayed in the Charlemont Hotel but have visited it numerous times over the years for drinks and food. It's a small hotel with a quiet atmosphere. The menu is possibly a tad old fashioned however I've always enjoyed any meal I've had here. The nachos, garlic mushrooms and garlic potatoes are delicious if you just want a snack... More

Old world splendor in a quaint and very quiet town. There was no elevator, AC or safe. The room was huge with lots of seating and places to put luggage etc. Huge bathroom, very clean. Nice linens. Staff very polite and accommodating. Included breakfast choices were many and were prepared and served promptly, hot and tasty. Recommended.
