I spent 3 days in the in early days of december on work and could not reccomend this hotel high enough. Whilst we all appreciate that no hotel is perfect this one deserves in my opinion a 4 star rating. Ths staff are fantastic and friendly and the receptionist even offered me a plate for my indian takeaway! The food... More

Stayed here on several occasions and very pleased with staff. A very nice bar and a lot of room for pictures. Rooms are quite small. The restaurant is always crowded but doesn't get too loud. Just a reminder, I'm from the states and like ice so be sure and get you a bucket.

Regretfully, this was a last minute decision to stay here. It's in a great city centre location with private parking at the rear. On arrival staff were friendly but when told we were on the third floor and the lift was "out of order, wasn't a great start. The room was a disappointment , it was small, dark and dingy... More

This hotel is in Armagh city centre so it's perfectly located if you want to explore the city. It has its own private car park at the rear of the hotel but it isn't disabled friendly. The hotel is a perfectly ok place. I don't hold with hotels having to be spotlessly wear & tear free and the older I... More

The staff in this hotel were very friendly and extra helpful. Food was excellent. It was very peaceful area with a lovely park nearby. Great location, central Armagh, within waling distance of the Theatre, Cinema, museums. The only drawback was the wifi was a bit unpredictable.

Stayed here on a visit to uni friends in the area, just for a weekend. Armagh has some interesting historical attractions and is your typical small Irish town. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a few drinks & pub grub on our first night in one the bars - interesting to say the least. Music was loud dance music,... More

There are lots of great things about the Charlemont Arms - its historic charm, the fantastic steaks and excellent cooked breakfast, clean, spacious rooms, good range of bars and lounges, friendly staff, good car park, and central location. To be taken seriously as a business hotel they need to fix a few things - hairdriers should be standard in all... More

I travelled to Armagh for the Charles Wood Music Festival & Summer School. I had never been to Northern Ireland previously but on entering the Charlemonte Hotel with my son who had stayed at the hotel last year, we were given the sort of greeting and warm welcome befitting that of your best friend by Helen the proprietor. Moreover, when... More

Food and service all good price not bad. Didn't like sheet with half the menu on the other half was on a blackboard which would of suited me better, but didn't notice until I was leaving and staff didn't point out. However staff where very nice and seemed to be under a lot of pressure which is a little bit... More
