“Unusual and Weirdly Interesting”

The host of this hostel is fantastic--and very eccentric. He made a good cup of coffee and had all kinds of interesting details and stories to share. The hostel itself is a bit dated. “Fantastic place to stay”

We loved this place. It was a B&B feel with hostel prices. We had a private twin room, and with the exception of a lack of towels (which we expect at a hostel), it felt more like a hotel room than a hostel room. We even had a TV. John was one of the friendliest people we met during our... More

I like this place a lot and hope to be a regular visitor. I found great ambiance and humour here. It is great value, very clean and properly run. Long may it continue.

I stayed at the Armagh City Hostel in October of 2002. I generally prefer private hostels, but this one is so laid back it was just as good. The facilities are brand new and private rooms were available with tv, shower and wc for little more than some dorm accomodations. Nice tv lounges, kitchen, laundry and view overlooks the football...
