Stayed two nights with my wife during a cycling holiday. Day trip by Ferry to Rathlin Island for some luggage-free local pedalling. We got the heavenly room ie the one at the top of the house. Spacious and peaceful. Unfortunately the wifi didn't quite reach inside the room but I got a working signal by sitting on the step just... More

My Aunt and I stayed here in August 2014, we were recommended by the local hotel as they were full. We stayed here for 2 nights, but we wish we could have stayed longer! Mrs Green was very helpful, and friendly. The B&B had off-street parking. The room was in an Annex, and even though our room was next the... More

We found this B&B via help from the local Tourism Information Center. The twin room was spacious and comfortable. Ask for help in working the shower, though. Breakfast was very good. The location is great in terms of walking access to downtown. All in all, this was a great value.

We stayed one night while touring the northern coast...9 of us were accommodated with no problems (we had reservations). Off-street parking, nice cozy rooms after a day of driving, and a wonderful breakfast in the glassed-in eating area to start the next day. Very friendly hosts, who spent a long time talking with us in the morning, giving history of... More

We stayed one night last week before sailing to Troon. The welcome was friendly, the rooms were spotless and comfortable and the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was pre ordered the night before and was well cooked - the coffee had however been on rather too long but we were the last ones in for breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend... More

Luckily we found a room in Fragrens following a pretty dreadful experience when arriving in Ballycastle. We had booked a weekend trip to Ballycastle to try scuba diving around Rathlin Island and had booked through Aquaholics in Portstewart. This turned out to be a huge mistake as the accommodation was close to the worst i've ever stayed in with an... More

Very well run and well-located B&B steps away from waterfront and cultural centre of Ballycastle. Fragrens is immaculate, comfortable, charming, historic, well-appointed and well-priced. We wanted for naught while there and left enriched by Vicki's explanation of the history of the 300+-year old property and her suggestions on visiting the local area. Breakfast is provided in a glass conservatory surrounded... More
