Called into the Fullerton arrms with four other family members for a 'light lunch' at the weekend. We had the option of eating in either the front bar or the restaurant, but decided to go into the restaurant. We had a hard time deciding on what we wanting to eat due to the extensive menu and then the impressive options... More

Stayed here with my wife on a Groupon deal which was admiittedly cheap. However like others we were put out to an annexe which when we opened our room was pretty awful.Perhaps if there are any surviving prisoners of war from WW2 wishing to take a trip down memory lane!Horrible dirty dorm-type bedroom so romance was out of the equation.... Have just returned this afternoon from 2 nights stay in The Fullerton Arms. Having read negative reviews before we got there I felt that I had to come on and give my opinion. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and our room was excellent. We stayed in room 3 which overlooked the main street at the... More

We are an Australian couple travelling around Scotland, Northern Ireland and Replublic of Ireland and pre booked all our accommodation months before our holiday based on Trip Advisor reviews. In over 15 bookings so far this is the only one that has let us down. On arrival, we eventually found the reception after finding someone to help us from the... More

We stayed at the Fullerton Arms Eater Monday and Tuesday, it's a brilliant family hotel in a perfect location. Our room was superb (see photos) with comfortable beds and a wonderful see view (see photos) watching the little lambs running in the field when you opened the curtains in the morning put a spring in my step. There were tea... More

Very quiet rural village located near the rope bridge very scenic, this would be ideal for older couples (not only because the room smelt like an old peoples home) or people who enjoy the peace and quiet. Heating in the rooms was poor either too hot or too cold, decor was also old fashioned and the beds too small, I... More

Booked using Groupon which did a very good deal. We were shown to the "Annex" which was a separate building in the car park. The room was quite big but had 4 beds. The carpet was very grubby and the whole room just felt liked it could do with a good clean. It seemed more like a dorm than a... More
