Had the loveliest visit to Ballycastle, the owners were very very friendly - nothing was too much for them! The house was homely and the breakfast (made to order) was very tasty. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it. Excellent value for money.

The home is large and cozy and decorated in period style. We had two rooms (family of 5) that were both spacious and light (a gorgeous deck on the master) with very nice bathrooms. Beside the incredibly kind and generous hosts (professional but warm and inviting) our favorite things were the scrumptious breakfasts by the fireplace with fresh flowers on... More

My wife and I had a nice stay at the Old Manse in late September. It is a beautifully restored home. We had just walked the Moyle Way from Cushendall. Mark met us at the door. Our bags were already in our room! We walked the stairs to the top of the house (!), and it was well worth the... More

I loved the Old Manse. It was my favorite place to stay along our walking tour of the Causeway Coast. Mark was super-friendly, gave us some good pointers for walking and for where to go in town for dinner and drinks. It was a 5 minute walk to town and a 5 minute walk to the port. The spot couldn't... I have just returned home after staying in the Old Manse for 6 nights, I wish I could have stayed longer. Mark and Liz, the owners are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble, I was in a recent car accident and experiencing back pain, I only had to mention this to Mark and he was making sure there... Owners are very pleasant and informative, breakfast was good. Rooms spacious but noisy. We could hear people moving above & talking. Bed was also very soft therefore unconfortable, this was the second floor.

The house is amazing and rooms very spacious. We were a group of 3 friends and we booked a family and a double room as there was a good offer for them. The family room is really big and could have easily accommodated 4 people with a double bed and two single beds. The double room was also very spacious.... More

We got married in Ballycastle at the start of July and stayed at the old manse for the weekend. I got ready there the morning of the wedding and our guests stayed in the other rooms. The house is really beautiful. The photos don't even do it justice. LOVELY antique furniture and quirky and tasteful decor. Breakfast around the big... More

The owner has gone to great trouble and expense to restore an old Presbyterian parsonage. The bath rooms and bed rooms are up to date, but the surroundings inside and out are definitely 19th Century including many antique artifacts and pieces of furniture. Gives you great feel for the history of Ballycastle.

We had the room with the balcony at the back, a sitting area with comfy armchairs and sofa and large screen tv. A very comfortable bed. There was no 'skimping' on the central heating either, a warm room, and a warm bathroom with a skin cleansing shower. No need to bring soaps and shampoos and so forth... They are here... More
