This B&B had a fabulous family atmosphere. The owners weren't around when we checked in, but their son was, and he was welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated the family style breakfasts, where we were able to chat with other visitors. Our visit to Ballycastle was fantastic because the people are so helpful, friendly and welcoming!

We stayed in the old manse while touring the giants causeway and the northern coast. First the welcome was warm and the room was amazing with toys for our 4 year old and a separate part for her within the room. The views were beautiful. Then the owner was a wealthy source of local knowledge of places to visit, things... More

My wife and I hiked the Giant's Causeway last weekend when we met the wettest weekend so far this summer. After a 5 hour walk from the Causeway to Carrick-a-rede, we were glad to get to our B&B. This very same weekend saw accommodation all booked up so we were particularly grateful to our friend who organised it all. Mark... More

I'm glad I could give you both that little bottle of 'champers' to help you celebrate your anniversary. Pity the weather was so bad but it has at last improved since then. Mark More

Stayed here lastnight, was great b&b, my hubby and grandchild leah. Got a great welcome from mark. Rachel (I think) his daughter was just putting the finishing touch to our room, after having her 18th the night before. We were made to feel very at home. Mark was more than helpful. Very close to the center of town, a few... More

This is the first place we stayed on our hiking tour in County Antrim. Mark was so warm and welcoming. He upgraded us to a wonderful room and talked to us about the local restaurants and history. We would stay here again!

After arriving in Northern Ireland from the ferry in Belfast we drove to Ballycastle and saw a lovely Bed and Breakfast down the main street. We only intended to stay 1 night but the rooms, breakfast and family were incredibly nice so we stayed a second night. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful experience .... Hi Jacquie. I'm glad you, your daughter and parents enjoyed there visit. Pity you had to go as I think your dad could have stayed on rightly once he got settled into the back garden sun chair. Say a big hello to Chris and tell him we might just take him up on that offer to visit you all in... More

It was a really nice and great pleasure to be with you, Mark and family! The room was big and the house is on a perfect place in Ballycastle. We enjoyed our stay in The Old Manse a lot. It was clean and everything nicely decorated.

I HIGHLY recommend to stay here. You simply can not find a better B&B in terms of price, location, food and of course a friendly family. They even did a load of laundy even though we stayed 1 night. The peat fire at breakfast was a warm welcome on a cold rainly monring. I have traveled many times in Ireland... More

Thank you very much John for your kind feedback. It was a pleasure having you both stay - just a pity it could not have been longer. Sorry about the weather but atleast it was an excuse for a big turf fire. Did you ever find the courage to cross the rope bridge at Carrick-a- Rede. The high winds make... More

The house has all the charm and character of a beautiful, period building, but the rooms seem brand new and easy to relax in. The view from the top floor bedroom is stunning, and furnishings were beautiful, but also very comfortable. It's easy to get to, with easy access to the village where there are good choices for restaurants in... More
